Nice fan, multiple speeds. You can use it with water/ice, or without. I tried it with ice, and it really does blow cold air. Personally think the power cord is on the shorter side, but you can use your own cord, to extended the length. The sticker on the top water tank says not to use distilled water, and the manufacture recommends NOT adding essential oils/using it as a defuser. Can't wait for a hot day, and to have this thing pointed at me! Read more
this is not what it advertises to be. It is not an evaporative cooler it does not have the technology that a proper swamp cooler or an evaporative cooler has. It’s simply a portable fan a small one, with a water tank on the top and a water tank on the bottom the water tank on the bottom is completely useless and if you put water in the top you can turn on this mister function you can’t even feel if you’re standing directly in front of it. Marketing is misleading it does nothing to cool the air it’s just a gimmick. What bothers me about this mostly is it would lead one to believe that evaporative coolers are not a good source of air conditioning when this is not what it claims to be. • Real swamp coolers pull air through a water-soaked pad, allowing evaporation to cool the air as it passes through. • This unit lacks that system. There’s no evaporative pad or powerful fan to push cool air into a space. Read more
My AC went out during a week when it was in the 90's here. Turns out my AC unit and furnace needed to be replaced, but I had to wait a few days. This little portable unit, plus a few fans helped get me and my dogs through those days. Highly recommend! Read more
Don't waste your time and money on this fan. Does not blow hardly any air. I have a small bathroom and bought it to use in there. Not good, not effective, not worth the money. Pass on this one! Read more
This fan is okay, but it seems rather weak. I was out in my garage in 90 degree weather, so I added some ice cubes and it worked to cool me off somewhat as long as I sat right next to it. However, it doesn't hold much water so I had to refill it about 3 times. The air stream seems very weak and you can't feel it unless you're only a couple of feet away. It was a little better with the mist on, but even that didn't reach very far. Also, I don't like that you have to use unfiltered water. Since my freezer has a filter, I have to fill ice cube trays from the tap to make extra just for the fan. I was going to return it, but I missed the return window. So I use it by my chair in the living room when I need a little extra air to cool down when watching TV, but I can only run it on low because it's quite noisy. My daughter purchased a similar fan from a different seller, but she paid about half of what I paid. I'm very disappointed that I didn't send it back for a refund. Read more

Bought this to use in an APA tournament held in a small venue with a weak AC. Worked really good and kept is cool and refreshed. Now it has replaced my fan by my bedside with a 2,4 and 6 hour turn off switch. Read more
Good for a small space such as a little room or office as an extra cooling supply. It is NOT strong enough to cool a medium room. Read more
