Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. This is no better than a regular little fan that you can get for $7.99 at Walmart. I put water in the tank and put in the filter and even put ice cubes in. It just barely cools you if it's right up against you. I used it one day and then the very next day when I turned it on it smelled like mildew and filled the small room with that smell. Read more
The $40 Mist-take
I bought this hoping it could help cool down a small room. I knew it didn’t specifically claim to do that, but I figured it was worth a try. Unfortunately, it really doesn’t do much at all. At best, it works as a small personal fan, but even then it’s not very effective. The only unique feature is the misting function, but you have to sit right in front of it to feel anything. Some people suggested adding ice, but that didn’t make any noticeable difference for me. I ended up buying a $6 desk fan that works better than this one. Since I paid almost $40, I still use it daily, but for what it does, it just isn’t worth the cost. Bottom line: unless you enjoy paying premium prices for lukewarm sprinkles of sadness, skip it.
