I live in Washington state, so it isn't super humid here. But it can get hot. I get hot easy, so I use it to cool my room down. Could easily cool down a slightly larger room. It is a little loud, but more like a white noise machine than anything. Seems like a decent enough ac for the price. Read more

Works ok but the draining of the water is not convenient at all. You need to empty a container that you put on the floor constantly or open a drain plug that is a half inch off the floor and try to get that in a bucket. The window kit doesnt fit well in standard vinyl windows .Returning unfortunately Read more
This product does not preform well. I use it for my bedroom and that room alone and it can barely keep up on 80 degree days while producing so much water you have to drain. I have to empty a bucket twice a day. This products cost to much for claiming to be 8000 btu and cannot cool a single room down that is insulated and door shut. Would not recommend. Read more
