Terrible don’t buy. This is NOT a portable air conditioner by any means. This shut iff and wouldn’t turn back on for several hours in the middle of the night. It was so hot and this helped as much as a normal fan. Nothing more. Read more

I was so excited to get this, as the AC broke at our house and I need something to cool my bedroom until it is fixed. It is so hot in here that I can't sleep at night, so I patiently waited for it to get here and literally slept on a cot in the basement until it could arrive because it's the coolest part of the house. The high number of stellar reviews and the price drew me in, and the description was clear that this is an evaporative cooler AC unit. What I got is a cheap fan that squirts out water at the top and holds water in the bottom of it for some unknown reason. Then I ran some analytics on this listing and found that the listing was only up for 6 days, yet the reviews are from months ago. Many of the photos with other reviews are accurate to what the item looks like, but the text in the reviews don't match the photos. I don't know how the sellers did it, but this is a clear bait and switch. I am requesting my money back and sending out a warning to the rest of you to please not fall for it like I did. Also, the listing states it's a "no drip design," but news flash: it drips. I guess it's the basement cot for me for another couple of days until I get an actual portable AC unit. Read more
