We live in Arizona, and for most of the year the humidity ranges between 18 to 27 %. So this little device is perfect to send out cool air. with or without ice, the increase in humidity brings the temperature down. I'm using my A/C a lot less. Usually only after 3pm. I only use it in my living room, which is a good size because I don't need to cool the whole house! Many homes still have a swamp cooler left from the "old" days and have added A/C which is a great solution if the duct work can accommodate it. Mine can't. So this little gem is perfect. I don't know how close in proximity other consumers are to this product, while in use... but this thing is wretched. I put it in my son's tiny room, (with an additional fan, as well) and it did absolutely, nothing. It is actually hotter in there, since using it. No, the weather isn't exceptionally hot; no, it is not massively humid. There is no good reason, for this to not function the way others rave about. Furthermore, it does not include the proper adapter necessary, for its ability to work well... Needing a certain amps/volts amount, which I did not see listed as requirements, upon the specs of the product/purchase. Which they indicate, is a pretty important and necessary piece of equipment, for its function. 10 out of 10, do NOT recommend. It did cool down the space we intended to use it in. The down side is the mist it creates causes water to hang it the air and create puddles on the surface of the desk we have it on. Unfortunately, we purchased it to use in our RV and having droplet of water in the air and cuddles on the desk are not favorable situations. Read more
Received item the same day I ordered it. It did not come woth the remote. I went ahead and set it up and used mostly ice and about 8 to 10 oz water in the tank. It took it a minute to cone on but once it did, the buttons were very sensitive and settings could be changed from the device. I set it up in a bedroom and could feel the fan on high from across the room and it did what it claims. I think it is a very crafty invention! Would recommend. Read more
The media could not be loaded. You know how refreshing those misters feel when your sitting at a restaurants outdoor seating in Vegas or Florida? This is exactly how this feels! This would be perfect for an office or bedroom, but it wouldnt cool off a large area. Put this baby in your general vicinity on a hot day and you will be pleased! This unit has a lot of features, can be used as just a fan and no mist, oscillation, a little light that goes different colors and a timer. I love that it has a remote. It's easy to set up, but I found that dumping the water a bit difficult. I think this looks nice too. Also its quiet! I cant do the fan sound for too long and this wasn't bothersome.
