Customers report that the air cooler fails to provide adequate cooling, with temperatures not changing at all.

College dorms get unbearably hot and this has been a lifesaver. My roommate is jealous and wants to get one too. Easy to move around and doesn't take up much space. Read more
The product is compact and easy to use, but the cooling effect is very limited. It works more like a small fan than an air conditioner. Might be okay for very close range, but not effective for cooling a room. Read more
So disappointed. It was just tossed in the box and looks used. It’s dirty and gross I bought this in hopes of cooling my room at night. It’s been significantly hotter than normal and even with central air the bedroom is hot. Read more

Not as impressed as the other reviews, oddly dated within a week or so of each other. It goes through ice pretty fast. An extra ice tray would be nice so one could be in the freezer while using one. I also have a hard time seeing how much water to put in. The gauge is really small. I have to grab a flashlight to check it. Also, you have to remove the filter to add water. The timer is nice to be able to set. Yes, it's a nice little cooler. It's better than just a fan, but cost more than a small fan. Just a couple things are a pain to me. In this crazy heat, I'm glad to have it. It is pretty quiet. Read more
I do not believe it cools to the expectations. The ice tray is tiny and freezing the wet filter does not last long. I will be returning Read more
Its nice looking and has a fan. Doesn't actually cool anything though not worth the money. Its small enough to sit on a desk not not very good for a car. Not very portable. Battery life non existent has to be plugged in to work. Read more
Not bad if you need a little bit of extra cooling in a very specific spot (right in front of you, at your desk, etc). But don’t get your hopes up for cooling a larger space like a small room or tent. On a good day this cools the area immediately around the fan by a degree or two. If you don’t freeze the filter first, it has little to no effect. And the process of wetting and freezing the filter and tray is annoying. Don’t expect to be able to turn on the fan and go. Ultimately, the effort to use this thing outweighs its benefits. At least it wasn’t expensive. Read more
