I am a Vine verified reviewer, but that doesn't mean that I just sweet talk in the reviews just because I get a free item. Oh no baby this is the big leagues- I only choose that which I am quite knowledgeable about, and only give my most truthiest of truths. So with that out of the way, let's dig in. When I took this thing out of its case- The first thing I noticed was VIOLENT FAN printed on the device.. I'm not sure who was in charge of that decision, but I am here to tell you that I sure as heck started taking this seriously immediately. But we'll come back to that.. What you get when you order, is a hefty feeling battery pack that happens to have a jet turbine on the top of it. There is an attachment for the intake side to turn this thing into a vacuum, as well as a couple of air funneling tips for the exhaust side of the literal rc turbofan they stuck on top of this monstrosity. All of it comes packaged in a very nice zip close case. Oh, did I forget to mention that this thing can jump your car/truck? I abused my truck battery and cracked a few beers while I played some music through my system while the truck was off until it died. It's a V6 engine so not the smallest, not the largest- and sure thing when I attached the included jumper cables to my battery and gave it a crank, my truck sprang back to life ready to party. Trying out the included blower/ vacuum functionality, level 1 yields Gusty breeze company by a familiar whirring sound from my history in remote control drones and airplanes.. Level two kicks it up to a blustery gust that is sure to knock the dust out of every crevice your automobile has to offer, while yielding a hair dryer level of noise output. Level three engages full thrusters and I kid you not when I say this- this is when I felt a palpable twinge of anxiety as the fan kicked out what felt like at least 3 lb of unadulterated thrust and the volume rose to near deafening jet flyby levels. I have a Ryobi 20v handheld blower that I use around the house and the shop, and it undoubtedly output nearly the same levels of wind speed and displacement. Not exactly- but close. I showed it to my wife out of sheer astonishment and she needed a couple hours to calm down after the loud event. If you turn this thing on full power and set it on the ground it will spin around and flip itself about threatening to destroy itself if you don't get a handle on it. Again- personal testimonial, zero dramatization. They were not effing around when they put "VIOLENT FAN" on the casing. Honestly it feels like a company set out to make an RC jet, then abandoned the design 10% of the way through and stuck a high amperage output Jack on it to turn into a jump starter. Now this all sounds pretty astonishing, but to be fair your average high-end vacuum cleaner is going to create a similar noise profile, they just have the advantage of encasing it in a way that masks it rather well. My only gripe with the device is the easy low-hanging fruit they missed when they could have turned this into a USB-C PD power bank by just adding one more little port and vrm. If you need a portable jump starter solution for your vehicle (which everybody should have) and also have the need to cram extra functionality out of every facet of your life- this is the flex for you.
