It is the led flash light on and off, in the manual said push the power button 3 second will turn on the LED light... we push the 3 second but only display led on which was how many percentage the power on the battery. We continue push button the Led flash light did not turn on... we click and click think may be the device flash light was broken... suddenly the led flash light was on... than we carefully read the manual again... then found out, in the manual it pointed, the first LED was displace LED ... after displace LED on continue "quick" push 2 times than Flash light LED will on, than continue "quick" push 2 times to change mode... in the manual, THE LED need to be clarify which one, display or flash light. I bought one for me and one for my daughter and this one is for my mother. Everyone should have one of these in thier car. The battery charge lasts a long time. I check it every 6 months and it has shown 100 percent charge for over a year. I'm really impressed with this. It's so easy to use. Just plug in the jumper cables and clip them to the battery. 2 lights flash for a couple of seconds then turn green and your ready to start your car. Its so easy i think my mom could use it. And just learned to text a few months ago. Thanks for a great product. I just bought my 4th one. I now have 1 for every car. And a couple I gave as gifts. This one didn't come with a carrying case. This thing was priced really well and worked great ONE time! I haven't had it very long but after the first time I used it, I haven't even been able to jump start my lawn mower! It says that it has a full charge every time I try to use it but it doesn't do a single thing. Bought this as an early black friday sale. Great item for the special price. The compact size is nothing compared to my bulky and heavy Stanley Jump starter that I use for jumpstarting/tire pump of my motorhome. Tried it on my Nissan NV3500 that has a dead battery because we barely used it. The van just clicks and stops when you start it because the battery depleted over time and the terminals are also corroded really bad. I also need it so I can take my kids to a drive-thru movie theater and this will come handy. First time jump starting my NV3500 with this compact jumpstarter, it started right away with no problems!!! This product came with a storage case and all the wires you need. It has a mini light and 2 USB connectors on the side I guess to use it as a power bank. I got it 100% charged and just used it to try how good it is.
