I’ve used this power brick as a power source for my iPad while piloting our fleet of Challenger 300s that don’t have a power source in the flight deck. It works really well and can keep the iPad charged for transcontinental trips exceeding 5 hours for a couple of days without recharging the brick, but I normally charge to full each night. It’s compact enough to fit easily in my flight bag and in the document holder to my side in the plane. It has an easy to read digital capacity display so I always know its power status. I bought this after the fires that destroyed most of Malibu. Where I live, we had several days of blackouts. I had no ability to recharge my phone and tablet. So I decided to buy a battery backup for future disasters or in case I'm on the go. There are many portable batteries, and so I chose this company. It's not a big name brand, but I just wanted to try something out without spending on something expensive. It costs thirty dollars. So far, it charges great. It's bulky and heavy. But when you buy a 50,800 mAh battery, it will weigh a lot. It has one type-c port and two USB-A ports. It charges fast enough for me. Furthermore, it takes several hours to charge back to 100%. The reason I give it a four star, is I have noticed, even when it's plugged in, sometimes it would stop charging. Not sure if it's the cable. After I removed the cable and then plugged it back in, it worked fine. I would have to do more testing and or buy better cables as the ones I have, are cheap. The device is heavy. Adults should be carrying and using it. Not safe for children. It's heavy enough to hurt someone real bad or land them or yourself in the hospital. Don't leave it out in the sunlight, as it could set on fire or explode. Keep it in a cool place, but too cold, as it won't work properly. In the end, I would still recommend the battery.
