It is very hard for me to break the cardboard, and then if I do break it, I still have to peel off the rest of it before the pill comes out. I am 73 yrs. old, and my strength isn't what if used to be.... I have to ask my son to do it for me, which defeats my purpose. I'm not saying that is doesn't work, that's why I gave it 3 stars.
