I’m really happy with this electric lunch box. It’s small and easy to carry, but it has plenty of room with its 4 stainless steel bowls. I love that I can cook rice, steam vegetables, or warm up leftovers all in one go, and it only takes about 30 minutes. The two layer design keeps everything neat and organized, and the lids help prevent leaks when I pack food to go. Cleaning is very simple and easy to wash. I also like the safety feature that automatically shuts off when the water runs out, so I don’t have to worry about overcooking. It feels sturdy and well made stainless steel and plastic. This lunch box makes preparing quick and healthy meals so much easier. Read more

First impressions. This device will always require you keep a towel nearby to wipe up water once you cook your meal. It uses steamed water heated on the inner base to cook your food. While it has an auto shut off when it runs out of boiled water, it doesn't mean your food will be done cooking - additional water may be needed to continue cooking food longer. I soaked one container of raw rice for a few hours before adding it to the unit. It cooked for 40 minutes but was a touch crunchy, so back inside it went for additional time with added water to the base. For my first meal I used 3 of the four container. Rice, frozen & fresh veggies with some Trader Joe's yellow curry, and a few frozen potstickers cooked in separate containers. Using 4 containers for 1 single meal may be too much food. That means, once you figure out your cooking time, you could feed at least 2 people in with this device. The size is just right to offer flexibility using either both levels or a single layer. I have paid a lot for another brand name that has a similar design. This unit is affordable and does a decent job once you figure out what to cook and for how long. Some say this is made cheaply. I think it's made well enough, and with careful use hopefully it can last a while. The wattage use is low enough one could bring this camping and cook food with a power station. It's fairly portable. The stainless containers and the body is easy to clean. I'm a sucker for heated lunch boxes and kitchen appliances. I plan to carry it holding it under the base instead of by its handle to ensure it won't break by simple transport. I like that there are lids that create a good seal when snapped on top of the stainless containers. This is a fun buy for tech, foodie, and small appliance fans. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I told Gemini my review & this is it!!! Portable Powerhouse: Small Size, HUGE Meals! A Must-Have Steamer When I first opened the box, I thought this portable self-heating cooking rice lunchbox looked smaller than it did in the online photos, but my first cooking session proved me completely wrong! I absolutely love this device—it's absolutely incredible and worth the buy. Performance & Learning Curve: On my first attempt, I only used the first layer and learned a quick lesson about water levels: I think I added a bit too much, which caused the cooking cycle to run over the estimated 35-minute timer. While the unit shuts off when done, I made sure to unplug it and let it cool down before handling, as it gets very hot—safety first! Just keep an eye on your water measurements, and you'll be set. Perfect for Professionals: This lunchbox is going to be awesome to take if you are a truck driver or work anywhere away from a full kitchen. If you can just bring a few ingredients to mix up sauces and flavorings afterward, the possibilities are endless. It's truly a game-changer for hot, fresh lunches on the go. My Delicious Creation: I prepared a massive, complex meal using this cooker: I steamed rice, carrots, yellow onions, red onions, and garlic all together. After steaming, I took the mixture and quickly sautéed it in a pan with some Chinese sauce and soy sauce & chopped up sausage if had used both layers I could of steamed cooked the sausage too . To top it all off, I melted some cheddar cheese over the mix and served it on top of the perfectly cooked Gabba rice. It was utterly delicious. The biggest surprise was the portion size; it created enough for at least two large servings! So, don't let the compact appearance fool you. This little lunchbox is a portable powerhouse that delivered a delicious, substantial, and healthy meal. Highly recommend! Read more

This one is a replacement for the first one I bought that didn’t work. It’s doing the same thing as the previous one. I elected to get another one. Guess I made the wrong decision. The water doesn’t even get hot. I should have known this one wasn’t going to work either when I realized that the second one was sent in a non cellophaned opeed box and it wasn’t even tapped. The only thing I can use is the accessories that came with it Read more

So far, I haven’t used this to cook food, just to carry it. It is lightweight and plastic, and has several compartments, making it convenient to carry a variety of foods, whether salad dressing separate from salad (so it doesn’t wilt) a sauce to be used with bread or on food. The handle makes it easy to carry to store in the car and it is large enough for a lunchbox small enough to place in a cooler. This is a nice lunchbox. Read more

Product works great, -1 star because the plastic is cheap. Somewhat brittle and handles are prone to snapping off. Read more
