The media could not be loaded. This tiny heater has a plastic housing, which initially made me worry it might get too hot or feel cheap, but it has held up fine. Heat starts coming out within just a few seconds of turning it on. The output feels similar to a PC fan pushing warm air, not blasting heat, but enough to noticeably warm a small space. On the lower setting there is a slight fan noise, and on the higher setting you mostly just hear airflow. It is still fairly quiet unless you are actively listening for it. The tip-over protection works via a small button on the bottom, so if the heater tips or gets lifted, it shuts off immediately. That is important because it is very lightweight and could be knocked over easily. The heater claims it can be left on overnight due to overheating protection, but I could not personally do that because my office warmed up too much. Using a heat gun, the internal blades measured around 115°F, while the air coming out was closer to 90°F on the hot setting. It warmed my roughly 10x10 office in about 10 minutes. There are only two heat settings and no temperature control, so what you see is what you get. One thing to watch out for is the power cord, which is fairly stiff. Make sure the cord placement does not pull the heater off a desk or shelf. Overall, it is a solid little heater for under-desk or small room use, very easy to use with only having one switch, especially considering the size which doesn't take up any room and price. I like this little heater and I think it’s a great value and does exactly what I expected it to do!! This is a personal sized heater so it is small and not meant to heat up a room, just a small area, which is exactly what it does! It has two modes, warm and hot air. It also has a tip-over shut off button on the bottom so it has to be sitting flat in order to work. It is lightweight making it portable and small enough to go into a bag for travel. Great for by a bed or under your desk at work, to warm up smaller spaces. It does not seem to get very hot expectation the front screen, I expect that. It gives off a consistent background noise which I don’t mind, it’s not loud of intrusive to me and is actually a nice background noise to sleep to. The electric cord is quite short, but nothing an extension cord would not fix if I need more length. I like this little fan! It’s great for under my desk at work and if I am traveling and it might be a little cold this would be something I would toss in my bag and take along with me. I’m reviewing the Oidooin Portable 400W Small Electric Desk Heater for Bedroom or Office. I ordered this small heater in White Color. The housing is plastic. Has a 42 inch power cord, and the plug is polarized, has 2 speed. I’m using this at my home office, my home office is a bit drafty and this small unit helps a lot and it’s placed near my desk. I like this a lot, I use the higher speed, the fan sound is very low (it’s actually quieter than my other heater), the housing is barely warm to the touch, almost unnoticeable. I like the tip over feature and I’ve tested that by knocking it down or just lifting the unit to move it to another location, the shut off was instant . The polarized plug is a good safety feature. The unit warmed up my desk area quickly, it helps warm my feet (they are always cold). The little heater produced a bit of smell when I first used it, but completely went away after 2 days. I didn’t use the lower heat setting as that didn’t do much for me because my office room is almost 200 square feet. Well it works and heats up quick I took a star off due to it being plastic material that is more lightweight than I expected, I wanted more weight to it but honestly it heats up quick and cranks out heat, there’s a power button for on and off switch it looks nice the heat is comfortable as it’s been so cold out. It was a great value for the size. I don’t regret it it will definitely be in my bug out bag in the future. Read more
