Very Happy I bought this one!
I received this a couple days ago and have worked it hard! I have a 16 yr old dog that is having potty issues and my old spray can and paper towels weren't enough. There were spots in many places on the carpet and I immediately went to work on them and was very happy with results. Then I thought "what about those upholstered dining chairs that are so stained that I'd thought I'd have to have reupholstered?" Worked on them today and have saved LOTS of money on reupholstery, they turned out great, a couple spots didn't come out but who looks that closely. I looked on You Tube for DYI cleaning solution and came up with one that worked well. I learned - DO NOT PUT BAKING SODA in solution. It didn't dissolve and clogged the sprayer... but easy enough to fix. WHY did I choose this one from so many others on the market? 1. 18Kpa is the most suction that I found on the market, the higher that number the more the suction. Some reviews had said leaves things too wet, yes if you flood anything that is fabric-based it will take a long time to suck up the water. I was satisfied on my carpet, not completely dry but it was quite dry. My chairs I overdid because they were so dirty, so they are still air drying but MOST of the moisture was sucked up. 2. The 2 separate water tanks, one for clean one for dirty, each removable independently. I had considered another machine but saw that the 2 tanks were connected so if you wanted to dump the dirty water you had to take the clean water tank along, which I thought would be awkward if I just wanted to dump dirty water. These 2 tanks are easy to handle, I took the dirty tank off to dump it after cleaning my chairs and was shocked at how dark the water was... pretty dirty chairs! 3. The size and weight are manageable for me. I'm 80 yrs old and this is very easy to handle. The cord wraps well and the hose does pretty good, wish it had a couple more inches because it is quite a stretch to secure it as described. Improvements but not worthy of reducing the star count are: 1. There is a tool which can swap out between bristly brush and rubber brush. I don't see a good place to store the one not in use. 2. It says self cleaning but am I supposed to have a brush? or flush with clear water? or what? 3. There is a "cap " thing which You Tube showed as putting on when wrapping things up to store but doesn't look like it does anything, and where do I store the tool that they detached? I keep the tool on, and put the bristle brush, the spare filter, and the cap in a plastic bag stuck in the handle. I think a built in solution would be better. 4. Limited instructions. It is pretty intuitive to use but I didn't see anything about self cleaning, didn't realize that the round black foam is actually something that sit in the dirty water tank. I got a spare but didn't realize it was something I was supposed to save. No instruction as to where and how to buy replacements. Am I happy with my purchase? YEP! Would I recommend? Yep!
