I can't say enough good things about this massager. Truly. I wasn't paid to write a review. I originally bought it because my wooden comb wasn't doing it for me in terms of giving me a really good scalp massage. This metal tool feels hefty and heavy in the hand and it's been a God send. It has all these various ridges and edges. I can "rake" my scalp and really get in there to work out some knots (DU20, Baihui point in acupuncture). I can "carve" my jaw and neck to help lymphatic drainage. I can use the pointed edges to dig into and massage my jaw to help relieve TMJ (ST6, Jiache point). I have even been just using it to thump on my chest (LU1 and LU2 Zhongfu points) and hum at the same time and, because the tool is hefty, it's a HEAVENLY deep massage inside and out. I've released DECADES of knots and pain with just this little but mighty metal tool. Best purchase I've made in a LONG time. Read more

I was very excited to get this product. I purchased this because I get constant headaches and I wanted something to massage my head with. This product is easy to wash so I really like that. It’s also good for face massage. But the tiny balls at the end of the comb like structure is not big enough for it to be soothing or to provide pain relief for me (for scalp massage, which was the main reason for this purchase). I haven't used this yet as much as I hope to, but it is well made and stays cool to the touch. I've been trying out the varied surface textures and even find the 'scalp' teeth useful for stroking the fleshy parts of my legs. It creates an interesting tingling of sorts on the opposite side of the leg from that which is being gently stroked, indicating how interconnected nerve endings of the body are quite overlapping and/or interlaced. When using the rippled (crinkle cut) edge, I can see little stripes on my arms even with gentle pressure, which may be good for loosening up lymphatic drainage. I think the uses of this product could extend over more coverage area than initially sold for, and if put in the freezer an hour before use, could be a welcome stimulation to tired muscles or pain areas. I like the soft pouch included for storage so that if it is accidentally dropped when not in use, I won't need to worry about scratches and/or damage to any sensitive surfaces. Read more
