The new model beats the old one in a couple ways. First, its charging cable has a USB-C ending, not a 2.5-mm one. Second, it's bluetooth and no longer requires the USB-A dongle. Almost every vertical mouse out there is designed for only one hand, but I prefer the Penguin because it allows me to switch off every couple minutes between my right and left hands to keep from fatiguing my wrists.
