Get it! Finally a toy that keeps him engaged!!! I really like my 7mo pup, but it's tiring when he constantly, I mean CONSTANTLY wants your attention. If your dog loves to play, but you can't always be tossing dog toys for them, then this is the toy for you! My Dachshund loves this toy. She plays with it for hours. Pretty much until she is wore out. I searched for a toy like this and tried several others. All of which failed because she was able to chew off the cover or pretty much destroy the toy within an hour. NOT THIS ONE! It is very durable! The hardest part is getting it from her to put it away. She did manage at one point to get the attached cord off (which I replaced). But even without the cord, she continues to play with it. It makes a lot of soft noises that I can barely hear, but she can.. And she just keeps playing and playing. I am not sure how long the battery lasts because so far it has not ran out on me. After she finishes with it, I charge it back up and it is ready to go for another long play cycle. The ball and cord are very dog safe and friendly. In summary, this is a wonderful toy. The media could not be loaded. BEST TOY EVER! I have a Boston terrier puppy this was her Christmas present which I gave to her so my son could open his presents. It occupied her the entire time! The way to charge it is to open it with the provided "key" but you could use a coin or a butter knife also. Inside there's two buttons, one for power. One to change the sounds. He makes sounds like a puppy crying,birds and something else. Even my senior dog wanted to play with it when he heard the sounds and that's not really his thing It comes with an extra rope called a jute rope in addition to the nylon one that's already attached. The instructions are clear on how to change the ropes out. Charge really fast It goes fast, slow, spins around, and shakes. It'll go flying clear across the floor and the best thing is it gets itself out of corners! (which is something I didn't like about other toys like this because they always got stuck) The material is durable. My puppy chewed on it for about 40 minutes after I turned it off and there's barely any marks on it I've recommended this toy to my family members who have pets and ordered one from my friend for his dog. Like some of the reviews have said, it was fun for my dog the first few times while being supervised with it. Left my dog unsupervised while I went to get a snack and came back to it destroyed and not working. I was gone about 15min. Great to interact with your dog but unsupervised its not very durable. It was very loud on the hardwood floors, we pushed it carefully around the floor so we didnt harm the dogs teeth. My dog loved it until she got some time alone with it and destroyed it.
