It was expensive, like what 125.00 $ But worth every penny, I had it 3 months . I replaced batteries 1 time since. It has handles on the side to make it easy to pick up just in case but really never pick it up. I like the rectangle ring inside to like keep trash bags inside nice and secure. Love the look of this trash can. I usually would never purchase something on Amazon that didn't have any reviews, but I decided to roll the dice. I'm glad I did. Note: this trash can requires 4 AA batteries, it is listed on one of their pictures within the listing but, wasn't made very clear. Not a big deal. Excellent trash bin and the lid seals well enough to hide odors of discarded trash. I got the dark green and love it in my kitchen. It is sturdy and after several months of use it has been dependable. My only concern with it has been the sensitivity of the motion or proximity switch. I had to move it out of my traffic pattern as it would open (without sound) and a few seconds away from the bin I would hear the lid close. The lid closing emits a gentle thump, and for a while I thought something was in the kitchen. Also (nothing to do with the bin itself) perplexing are the complimentary trash bags. They rip at the seam on top 96% of the time trying to fit them on the provided frame of the bin. If I were not so frugal I would trash them, but they do work, so I am using them until the last one. Note it takes some patience to fit them on the frame without tearing. I tried my Wally World brand and they worked better, so when these are gone finally, all will be fine. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Anyone that comes over asks me about my trash bin. The blue LED light is so cool. My advice is to have extra AA batteries on hand and to accept the fact that there might be a few small little dents in the can when it arrives.. I’ve ordered 10+ stainless bins and none of them are ever perfect. Great can, stop thinking and buy. Read more
I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Stopped working after a year. Changed batteries multiple times and still nothing. In the beginning, it went up and down everytime you walked by it - too sensitive. That then reduced to me having to wave my hand over it to get it to open (6 months in), to not opening at all! Too expensive to stop working so quickly. Read more
This is a really good trash can, it does comes with bags but the bags are flimsy, I have a handicap son who uses a catheters, I have looked and looked for a trashcan that would not stink, so this trashcan does help alot, not completely but thats only because of my son's condition,,I will definitely be buying another for my kitchen because it blocks odors so well Read more
