The Pinnacle Hiker Arch Support Hiking Boot Insole is hands down one of the best insoles I’ve ever used, especially for someone like me with very flat feet. I’ve tried various insoles over the years, but nothing comes close to the support and comfort these provide. While there are other options in their product line, this particular insole offers the most sturdy and reliable support for my feet, making it perfect for long hikes and outdoor adventures. It provides just the right amount of cushioning and arch support to keep my feet comfortable and aligned, even on the toughest trails. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in foot fatigue and pain since switching to these insoles. If you’re looking for a high-quality insole that offers exceptional support, especially for flat feet, I highly recommend the Pinnacle Hiker. It has truly made a difference in my hiking experience! As a hiker with very high arches who has experienced his share of related foot pain, I have tried a variety of aftermarket insoles. I've found that the Powerstep Pinnacle Hikers provide the most robust arch support and pain prevention. While I do believe that cork insoles might be the most comfortable option in general, only the Pinnacle Hikers can claim to offer the absolute best arch support regardless of build material. Unlike many other foam rubber/EVA-based insoles that feel good at first but quickly compress or fall apart, the Pinnacles have more than adequate padding and hold up over many trail miles. They feel firm at first, but I quickly got used to it and appreciate how well they handle long hikes. They're on the slightly thicker side of average for hiking insoles, so buy them for boots/trail shoes that fit true to size, not ones that are are extra snug on your feet. Read more

I recently purchased a new pair of Soloman Speed Cross 6's to replace a pair of Merrell Bravada 2's that I was very unhappy with. The minute I put my foot into the Soloman's at REI I had to have them. They are so comfortable - they feel like a second skin and have amazing grip; however, on my first hike after purchasing them I noticed my legs getting tired and my feet starting to hurt before I had even finished half of the 8 mile hike. By the end of the hike, I was in agony. I didn't really suspect the shoes though. I hiked three more times of varying lengths ranging from 7 to 13 miles and came away from each one feeling exhausted and beat up. That was it - I finally purchased these insoles and impatiently awaited their arrival. I prepared my shoes ahead of time by removing the insoles and cleaning the interior of the shoes. I was first shocked at how thin the stock insoles were and secondly by how much dirt they were holding onto within the foam. My Soloman's were dry by the time these arrived so I wasted no time putting them in. I was disappointed at how hard they felt, but decided to reserve judgement until after I hiked a few hikes. Today I went on a 16 mile moderate to strenuous trail and felt amazing I approached the end. I could have hiked another 16 miles if my hiking buddy would have agreed, but alas, she wasn't wearing the same insoles as I... Think I'll get her a pair for our next hike! Read more

Have yet to wear them heavily/on a hike but upon immediately putting them in my shoes I’m out of pain. For the first time in weeks. I stand and walk all day every day and I’m pretty heavy (300 lbs) so this is a huge deal. Big enough of a deal that I’m here to mention it! Immediately much better than dr scholls! Excited to see how they hold up to hiking all day. Read more

I certainly don't feel like I have wasted my money on these, as they are good quality and comfortable. However, I have to take off a star because of their thickness. I realize that is part of the cushioning, but I have other insoles that cushion just as well and are not as thick. If your shoes don't have a lot of extra room in them, you might find that these will compress your toes. Also, I feel like these don't shape to your feet and that may be part of the issue. I have various shoes that fit differently, and I will just try to find the shoes that these will work the best with. Read more

My favorite hiking boots were shot after a few years, but too expensive to toss. These inserts make them feel like new. These are now the absolute perfect yardwork footwear. The outside is already beat up so I can't hurt them, but they are awesomely comfortable and I can stand and walk all day. Read more

I got my 1st pair of Powersteps from my foot surgeon. He recommended that I replace them about every 6 months. The price in the Dr's office was $75.00 & not covered by insurance. along w/my $30 copay it was adding up! Purchasing them here was a great value for my money I tried cheaper brands of arch support but was disappointed with the lack of support. These are so comfort that I wear them all the time. Their hot overly thick so your shoes will fil perfectly! The cushion bring me lots of pain relief & I actually went shopping, (to3 stores,) by myself for the 1st time in years! (and I didn't "crash" when I got home! Fit is true to size & they help insulate so that your feet feel a little warmer! Read more

I can't say enough good things about these. 72 hours before an overseas hiking trip I had stitches in my ankle and could no longer wear my boots. I put these in my running shoes and suddenly had a solution that meant I didn't have to cancel my trip. They gave great support and just the right amount of stiffness. 113 Km later, I'm a BIG fan. I'll be trying them out in my boots next! Read more
