GREAT for gait corrections & snowboarding!

My physical therapist recommended this brand of insoles for me since I walk with my feet and needs slightly turned out. I am extremedy happy with the product. I think the more rigid support and correcting is helping me to heal some glute/periformis/hip and knee problems, and the extra shock absorption helps a lot when I walk on uneven terrain - like packed snow - which would normally cause an immediete flair up in my hip and butt muscles. I got the wooly hiker version because it seemed like the most versitile - I do plan on eventually trail running with these and I walk a lot on uneven terrain, live in very cool temps and do a lot of hiking. I so far cannot speak to how well they work with running or hiking. I am not sure the wool is really doing anything to help keep my feet warm because they have still been just as cold as ever. I did wear my shoes with no socks and the wool seemed to be better with that than other none-wool insoles I have. The other huge benefit from these insoles is that I can use them while SNOWBOARDING! I did not think that they would fit, since my snowboard boots are a lot smaller than my regular shoes which I sized my insoles for, but they fit in my boot liners and are actually AMAZING for boarding!! I just got new snowboard boots and was also worried that these would constrict my foot too much since the boots were not broken in yet...but about 10 minutes later the boots fit perfect and for the first time since I got my boots I didn't have crowded feet, AND my heel stayed in place much better. I believe that these insoles actually accelerated the process of breaking in my boots and provide a heel cradle that really keeps it in place! I'm not sure what I'm more excited about...walking on the these insoles or snowboarding in them! Read more

Best insoles yet!

Years ago my podiatrist sold me a pair of PowerStep Pro's from his office. The Pro's have a extra heel cushion. Over the years I have tried several other brands but I keep going back to the PowerStep brand. This wool model fits my arch well, is very comfortable and possibly warmer in my winter boots. I own a couple pairs of this wool model and the arch support seems more pronounced than in their other models. Read more

Nice arch support and warm feet

I re purchased these for the upcoming winter. I bought some last year and they had a nice arch support and the wool base helped to keep my feet warm. Read more

Comfy and help with my pronated ankles

Comfortable and fit women's size 11 shoes perfectly. I put one pair in my Keen hikers and one pair in my Merrell's that I use for cycling. I did not have to trim them down but if you have a narrow shoe you might need to. I like that the wool adds a bit of comfort. Keep in mind it adds some thickness also. I only noticed in the Merrell shoes as I ride with extra sock layers in winter. I do like the support they offer as I over pronate. Read more

So good I’ve bought many set for the last few years.

I buy a new set every few months and swap them out. I put in 65+ hrs a week doing construction, and am in my feet most of that time. Solid quality especially for the cost. I put them in my redwings and my thurouhgoods. Read more

I Put These in My Wool Slippers!

I love these insoles--I put them in my wool felt slippers and I find that not only are my feet REALLY comfortable, but they don't sweat at all. I've put other insoles in my slippers that still made my feet sweat, so when I saw these, I had to try them. The wool felt slippers that I buy don't have much cushioning in them, so these are really great! I kind of live in my slippers as I work from home, so even during the summer I wear them pretty much all the time! I did need to buy 1 size larger of my slippers to accommodate the insoles as they are kind of thick. Read more

Great, warm support!

Great warm support, but since I wear these every day they do wear out in about a year, the wool starts coming off, but you really shouldn't wear any shoe or insole for more than 6 months all shoe company's shoes and insoles break down, no matter what they are made of. I will keep buying these! Read more
