I have very painful plantar fasciitis in my right food and I’ve been searching for good insoles. The drug store brands don’t work for me and my podiatrist recommended the Powerstep brand. I ordered the ProTech High Arch and the Pinnacle High, because both were recommended for supination, which is what I have (it’s when you wear out the outer side of your heels or soles in your shoes more than the inner side). Both insoles are great, provide firm arch support, but the ProTech High Arch is a little more supportive.I put them in my walking sneakers and in my “run around town” shoes, and while they definitely make my foot feel more comfortable, they do not get rid of the pain. The pain is mostly in my heel,so I added small sticky gel pads to the heel area, and that helps a lot. These inserts are expensive at $80, but they’re in a different category from the cheap drug store kind. I’ll probably get a few more pairs of the Powerstep ProTech High Arch so I don’t have to switch them around between shoes. Read more

My Podiatrist said I have to get more supportive insoles for my high arches, my plantar fasciitis and subsequent achilles tendonitis. So I coughed up the funds to get these insoles. Boy am I glad I did, there's a squishy spot at the heal for my plantar fasciitis to not get more angry, and the arch is high enough I feel like I'm actually getting support, so both my achilles are calming down now too. Totally worth it! Read more

They are great for supporting and helping with supination - when they stay put. I have to adjust them before I put my shoes on, or they’re actually worse for my foot. They need some kind of adhesive the. They’d be five star. Read more

My husband got these. Easily the best longest lasting insole he has had. He is a big man at 6'6" and 400lbs. They take a lot of punishment. Read more

A decent support. Would have given a higher review, but the additional rubber heel cushion wore out quickly. Kept thinking something was in my shoes, it was the rubber cushion breaking away. I put athletic tape over the rubber cushion to keep it from breaking down. Read more

I have high arches, my running shoes ware out on the outside edges of the heel and toe areas of the soles. I've been walking 30 to 35 miles a week for 11 years, and all of a sudden I developed pain in my left heel. After figuring out the problem, Plantar Fasciitis with supination, I decided to give PowerStep Pro Tech for high arches a try, and it works....! I have worn out 19 pairs of running shoes in 11 years, so maybe now my shoes will last longer with no heel pain. This insole is made well. Read more
