I have flat feet that rotate outward so far that my podiatrist told me I was the worst case he'd seen in his practice. Whenever I don't wear orthotics, I suffer pain in my heels, ankles, and the balls of my feet; however, in summer my feet got too unbearably hot to wear shoes, so I had to put up with a summer of foot pain. Not anymore! These sandals provide the support I need to get through the summer comfortably. Very comfortable, especially if you're already accustomed to PowerStep orthotics. I really like these flip flop sandals. I bought my first pair in my podiatrist's office and have since bought 2 more pairs. I find them to be supportive. They also look more stylish then the typical flip flop shoes. Read more

It's hard to find orthotic or supportive flip flops. These have good arch support and help with walking distances. I found they took time to break in because the straps are very stiff, so I did need some time with them. So much better than flat soled flip flops! Read more

This brand was recommended for support. I'm a flip flop wearer even in cold Illinois weather. A small bunion started to develop on one foot. I started doing foot exercises which got rid of 99% of the bunion. I no longer wear my flat flip flops because they contribute to bunions and for me the power step is so much more comfortable. I could walk or stand all day with the power step. I wear a size 10 B, sometimes 10 1/2 in tennis shoes, but ordered a 10 in the power step and was happy it fit perfect in length and width for me. Not walking ready. Need to be broken in. The toe post digs into the skin causing blisters to form in both feet in less than 2 hours of wearing them. Hoping once broken in they will be comfortable. Read more

These are exactly what the doctor ordered. I have an old foot injury that makes it difficult to find shoes with the right arch support and heel cushioning. I live in flip flops during the summer. My podiatrist recommended trying powerstep. They are so comfortable and I can walk forever in them. They have very firm support. I will definitely buy another pair. Read more
