Relief for stabbing pain in my forefoot
An insole performance is very unique in how it might help you. But I will say that I was having fore foot problems with a stabbing pain and these orthotics helped. They were recommended by my podiatrist. That podiatrist tried to start helping me by putting the adhesive pads in my shoes. He adjusted and checked it 3 times so I know he got it where he wanted. They didn't help. I ponied up for these and they immediately put the pad a bit more forward than my doctor was trying. They definitely did the trick (for me). So much so that even though I don't have pain anymore, I've bought these for my gym shoes, my tennis shoes, my running shoes, my ski boots, and my every day shoes. Please note, they are not low profile so they don't always fit in dress shoes. Great cushion. Very comfortable. I STRUGGLED to figure out which size I should buy. I'm typically a 10.5 (like in Adidas) or 11 (like in Nike or New Balance). I settled on the 11-11.5 and it fits very well in all of my shoes. Read more

Glad I tried these!
What a relief! I’ve tried numerous insoles, with and without metatarsal pads for metatarsalgia and felt so good wearing and after wearing these I’ve ordered three more pair so I don’t have to keep switching them from one pair of shoes to another. The main difference seems to be that unlike others I tried that you could trim to fit your shoes these are sold in specific sizes. Makes sense really since trimming the front end of the orthotic changes the location of the built in metatarsal lift and reduces its effectiveness. Depending on my activity level I may also wear a Brison metatarsal pad but that is unusual the more I get used to this product. If you have never worn a rigid corrective foot orthotic before be sure to follow the gradual break in schedule recommended by the manufacturer. Read more

Have Plantar Ficitus (sp). Had it for over a year. These inserts are excellent. You'll need several to put in multiple shoes, but they are sturdy, last fairly long period and definitely work. My only problem is wanting to wear pretty sandals and these are not set up for that. Read more
