I recently purchased the PowerStep Pulse Plus Ball of Foot Pain Relief Shoe Insoles after struggling with persistent ball of foot pain. Right out of the package, I noticed a significant difference. The insoles feel very well-cushioned and supportive, especially under the forefoot where I needed it most. After just a short time wearing them, the discomfort I usually experience was noticeably reduced. The fit was easy — I simply replaced my standard insoles, and these slipped right in without needing to trim. They provided a nice balance of cushioning and support without making my shoes feel tight or awkward. Since I’ve only had them for a short time, I can’t speak yet to their durability, but based on the build quality, they seem promising. I’m hopeful they’ll hold up well with regular use. So far, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for immediate relief from forefoot pain. Read more

I suffer from very bad and vary painful plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. These are very helpful after you get used to them. Cushioning is good and the support helps keep my feet from spasming and hurting. The round deep heel cup is great. Fit seems try to size Read more
Have used these for years and they work great for me. I have high arches and Morton’s Neuroma so the extra metatarsal pad is perfect. I wear them in all my sneakers, boots, and closed shoes. I generally go up 1/2 size in shoes to accommodate the inserts. I remove the sock liners from shoes and replace with the PowerStep inserts. I purchase one new pair every spring to be my primary pair for my every day, walking shoes and then move the older inserts to shoes I wear less frequently. This process works best for me as I am a full-time dog walker and I’m on my feet all day. Read more
I have been wearing orthotic insoles for years, to the point that I have gone thru a collection of them seeking relief to a weak arch and a metartarsalgia condition, especially in my right foot. Just under two years ago, I went for a visit to an orthopedic foot specialist, and he recommended Aetrex orthotics with metatarsal support. I bought three pairs, different types and sizes, and had been wearing them since. However, I felt that while they did provide support to the arch of my foot, the metatarsal support felt too much like an isolated lump under my foot - and after a few hours of wearing them I went from discomfort to pain, requiring me to get off my feet for considerable periods of time. When I saw this new style of PowerStep soles with metatarsal support I decided to give them a try… and it has been a game-changer. These soles provide broad support for the whole bottom of my foot, and I found them particularly effective in relieving the pain in the metatarsal area of the foot, without feeling lumpy and eventually themselves becoming a source of pain. Recently, I decided to resume hiking with these insoles in my boots, and did a trail of 3.6 miles without much pain - to the point that I felt confident that I could do a 5 mile loop next. Based on my experience with these new PowerStep insoles, I would strongly recommend them for anyone with an arch and a metatarsal pain condition. Read more
I was thrilled to see a combination insert with metatarsal pads. They were each slightly different which gave me a chance to decide which pair was better for me. First of all, they were not actually a combination pack, but two separate boxes & there was no discount for ordering them as a combo. This was vexing because I realized I could have chosen two different inserts at a more reasonable price myself. The orange inserts are amazing. They are comfortable, the metatarsal pad is perfectly placed, so I immediately began wearing them & love them. I delayed using the blue power step insert because I had recently purchased a different style power step. Today I took the second pair out & immediately noticed that the right insert seems to be missing the metatarsal pad, while the left one is intact. I am wearing them as I write this & they are definitely different! I realize I’m at fault for not noticing sooner so I could return them, but honestly how am I supposed to do that when only one Pair is defective, while the other pair is perfect? The arch support is excellent, especially with the orange inserts, as is the metatarsal pad. They are perfectly placed in my sneakers & add the proper amount of support. I am disappointed in the quality and feel that this was not a good value for me. That being said, I would purchase the Power step orange pair again separately at a more reasonable price. Read more
