Barley functional invest something better built if you can.
The media could not be loaded. **Background:** I use this to hold my tablets while working standing up or in the kitchen. **Build Quality:** The base is metal, but the rest is plastic. You control the tension with a supplied Allen wrench. The little arms that fold down to hold the tablet are terrible. The right one feels like it's stuck and is going to break every time you fold it back and forth. **Function:** You get what you pay for. This is barely functional. The one arm on the right feels like it’s going to break. Putting a large 11-inch tablet on it is risky; the base isn't super wide and doesn’t have enough heft. It doesn’t fold up very compactly, which could have been its saving grace, as it folds up to about 2 inches thick due to its smaller footprint. The adjustable length extends another 2 inches. The worst thing about this is if you even lightly tap the screen of your tablet, it springs back further for a few seconds. It’s just so unstable and poorly balanced. Even with my iPhone 15 Pro, if I tap the screen, the phone shakes on the stand for a few seconds. I would return this and spend a little more money to get something more robust. If you’re on a tight budget and plan to only touch your tablet for viewing on a stable surface, this might work for you. But it’s not portable, not super stable, and poorly made with lots of stiff plastic. It’s a nice low price, but I feel you sacrifice too much functionality, so I can’t recommend this, even for those on a tight budget. Read more
