Living in a fairly rural state means that services aren’t available at your every whim, so I try to be prepared for most common scenarios like my car battery dying. This device is absolutely perfect to have in your trunk as a backup. It’s very compact and doesn’t take up a ton of space, but it does pack quite a punch and will jump most vehicles without any issues. This battery is very convenient and super easy to use. Every single woman should have one of these in their cars. So compact. I bought this Jan 2024 and forgot about it in the back of my vehicle. Eleven months later my battery went dead at night leaving a grocery store by myself. Not sure what made me remember the device was in the back of my car but once I found it, I kicked myself for not charging it as the instructions say every 3 months. So I was sure it wasn't going to power my car up. To add to the frustration, I had no idea how to use this thing. After raising my hood and looking for the battery, I was perplexed that my Ford Escape battery had the red battery thing showing but the black one was buried under the hood....crazy setup. Just then a very kind man came to ask if I needed help. I generally refuse help from anyone, especially after dark but I was desparate. When I showed the guy my device, he seemed relieved that he didn't need to go to all the trouble of hooking up his car to mine. However, because I hadn't charged the device up for a year, neither of us were sure if it would actually work. All my cars now what battery/jumper units. Long gone are the days of needing jumper cables, and the need for another case to help out. These are getting better and better. Pretty awesome starter. I only give it 4 star because of a design flaw with the power button. While it's been stored the power button is being pressed and draining the starter before it can be used. To prevent this from happening I just use a small Tupperware lid and use a rubber band to hold it over the lid while in storage. Read more
I love this charger and I love this company. I've had the P-One Max for over a year now. I've used it several times and it worked flawlessly to jump multiple vehicles. I left it in my trunk for a long time and had an issue recharging it. One e-mail to the company and they sent me out a replacement right away. I cannot speak highly enough about this company. They stand behind their products. Even the best-made things in the world will occasionally have a flaw. It's only an issue when the maker doesn't stand behind it. Powrun does right by their customers. I recommend the P-One Max to everyone. My only piece of advice would be to make a habit of checking it every few months just to make sure it is ready to go. The media could not be loaded. The powrun P-One MAX jump starter is a very powerful and compact jump starter. The ability to start a 10L diesel is pretty impressive for this size of unit. My favorite things about this jump starter is the large covers for the charging ports. On my other units, this was a big annoyance as they always got in the way of connecting the jumper cables, but Powrun has solved that concern with this model. Auto detection of the battery is a great feature and increases usability as all you need to do is connect the unit and it is ready to start the car! This makes it so that anyone can use it - no intermediate steps needed to get things started. The only exception to this is if the battery is exceptionally low, the "boost" button will need to be pressed to start jumping the car. This function is also important as some units will not work at all with a very low battery and need to see a certain level of voltage to function. Additional features include a bright work light and the ability to be used as a power bank, never be without power! The case is also sturdy and well built with plenty of room for everything. Much better than a carry sleeve. Overall this unit is a very good value for the price, especially with the engine size capability and design features. I would recommend this for sure, and am thinking I will also make this a gift for my family to be sure they are safe for their travels. Read more
This thing blew my mind! I’ve been having trouble with a parasitic drain (I keep forgetting to unplug my Dashcam when my car sits for a couple days). I’ve tried a couple and they left me stranded. This!! Wow! I have a 2011 Taurus and it jumped it no problem. I probably have jumped my vehicle 10 times (I’m very forgetful about my Dashcam) and two other vehicles with zero issue and it still had 56% charge from my first charge.
