The media could not be loaded. “I received the Practicon SmileGoods 200 yard dental floss and I’m very impressed. The floss is strong, doesn’t break easily, and glides smoothly between teeth, even in tight spaces. I appreciate that it’s unwaxed, leaving a cleaner and more natural feel after use. The amount is generous and the packaging is convenient, perfect for daily use. I definitely recommend this product for maintaining excellent oral hygiene.” Read more

This floss is strong and efficient. Unlike waxed floss that doesn't scrape tartar very well (although it may be great for infected gums that bleed), this floss is thin and strong to get into tight places and efficiently removes food and plaque. 200 yards will last me a long time and I will buy more when needed. I'm the daughter of a dentist so I haven't actually BOUGHT floss very often in my life since my Dad always had millions of samples that have taken us literally a lifetime to use up! I've been using waxed floss (with two brands that were way too thick) and waxed dental tape which was completely useless--didn't get anything out from between my teeth at all. In my opinion this floss is actually THIN, not thick, but just double the strand if your teeth have spaces between them. I LOVE that it's unwaxed, as it really does a much better job at getting your teeth and gums completely free of little things that are irritating, like pepper, popcorn hulls, or bits of fruit or something. I also love the refill size that will work in my previous containers that I've used for years. I bought four: one for my bathroom, one for my bedroom, one to keep in my desk at work and one for my car. Very inexpensive and a great value! Read more

i've been using the same floss for 20 or 30 years now, because it's (for me) the best one out there (rhymes with 'pride'). even after it got taken over by a bigger company (rhymes with 'coral sea'), the floss didn't change. to my perception, it never changed at all, over these many decades --which is great, since it's the best. why mess with the best? but when i bought my most recent batch and started using it, it was a radically different product, far inferior to the one i was used to, and not even good enough to consider using ever again. so now the tedious search has begun: find the best new floss that i can live with, and stick with. this brand/version is one of the first i'm trying. my response is mixed: 1. the price is definitely fair. 2. it's phenomenally strong --maybe the strongest floss i've ever used. you might be able to tow a boat behind your little car, with this stuff. 3. it's truly thinner than most i've ever used --so thin that i need to double it up, to even be able to use it. and even then, i'd prefer it a bit thicker. i tried tripling it up, but that was too thick (couldn't get it between ALL my teeth). 4. it's quite 'sharp' (probably due to the combination of being so strong and so thin). the sharpness must have caused some minor gum cutting, because i noticed a bit of blood a few times, when i rinsed and spat out. i never draw blood; my teeth and gums are quite healthy and my oral hygiene is totally regular. i never see blood from brushing or flossing (that's usually a sign of gum disease, or poor oral hygiene, or both). so for the time being, i'll keep using it (carefully) while i try out some more brands. the sharpness leads me to assume that this is not likely the one that will end up as my final choice --but i have no idea what's out there. maybe it will turn out to be the best one i can get? if so, i'll have to go with it. i already noticed, in the brief and cursory search so far, that most floss nowadays appear to be waxed. i don't do waxed. it defeats the purpose. so my options may turn out to be sadly limited. the primary thing is that i hate shopping. when it comes to routine products, i just search diligently for the very best one --for as long as it takes to find the best, and then i stick with it forever (or until the company goes out of business or stops making that particularly item [which usually happens sooner or later, since my loyalties measure in decades, not years] ). It shreds quite a bit though (I have tight molars so maybe that’s why), so if you don’t already use a fresh section of floss for each tooth, you might have to for this. It shreds less if you do a sawing motion instead of snapping it in and out of your teeth. Despite that, it’s never broken in half or gotten stuck so far. I’m used to using Oral-B Glide packs so I assume as long as I’m more careful with this stuff it’ll stay that way. size: it’s 200 yards so yeah, it’s bigger than most floss packs. EDIT: I’ve gotten used to it. It did start getting stuck and it broke once in the past but not anymore. Just feels normal to use now. I guess using a lower quality floss just.. makes you a better flosser? Honestly idk. But I’m def buying this again once it runs out. Also changing from 4 stars to 5 stars because this is basically perfect for me now. Read more

Good quality dental floss. However, since it is unwaxed and a little thick, it can be harder to get in between some teeth that are tight together. Thicker than POH dental floss, which is the other type of dental floss that I use. Read more

Gets the job done for the most part, but this does shred. Not terribly pleased with that fact, but for the price and the amount you get, it’s serviceable. Read more

Best floss ever! I hate the wax floss as it always comes off and it slips out of my hand so easy so I thought I would try this. I love it! I have hold onto it no problem and it cleans in between my teeth. What’s not to love. I will most definitely purchase again. Read more
