The media could not be loaded. “I received the Practicon SmileGoods 200 yard dental floss and I’m very impressed. The floss is strong, doesn’t break easily, and glides smoothly between teeth, even in tight spaces. I appreciate that it’s unwaxed, leaving a cleaner and more natural feel after use. The amount is generous and the packaging is convenient, perfect for daily use. I definitely recommend this product for maintaining excellent oral hygiene.” Read more
Holds up well with my close sharp teeth but does shred sometimes like all of them. Still stronger than most Read more
I like this floss okay, but it is not my favorite. I bought it for my husband because it has been difficult to find unwaxed floss in stores near my home. Then, I have read that waxed flosses may contain unhealthy substances that make it glide, similar to Teflon. I find that this floss is rather thin. It glides okay without the added toxins. I like that it works well in a few places where my teeth have very close contacts. My teeth are so close that some flosses shred and break in these places. Who would have ever thought that even dental floss may contain undesirable additives? At least this brand claims to be free of them. Read more
My review title says it all. I am an older person (70) which means, as a result of aging, my gums have receded resulting in larger gaps between my teeth where the teeth meet the gum line. Oral hygiene now requires a more concerted effort to keep all areas in tip-top shape bc food will get trapped in those areas, not to mention that exposed dentin at the receded gumline holds onto food more easily. (ah…the things to look forward to in old age!) When I came across this floss I could see that reviews were mixed, and I can see why. Unwaxed floss is much more challenging to snap past the tooth-to-tooth contacts. If you have tight contacts, this floss may not be for you. Wait til you are older! Ha! I was curious about non-waxed, bc having used waxed floss my whole life, it was feeling like it was becoming increasingly less ineffective for me. So I tried the unwaxed. The first time I tried it was frustrating. I was used to waxed floss easily sliding between the teeth contacts. It took effort to get the unwaxed past the contacts. But I kept at it, mostly bc I didn’t have any other floss to run to. Wow! This stuff really cleans the teeth gaps and areas around the gums. With no wax there is a lot more friction and a much more effective cleaning of all areas where this floss is used. I am 100% sold and can never go back to waxed. I’m completely used to it now and can navigate the challenge of its use without thinking about it. Last night I ran out of the unwaxed and had to use some waxed floss. TOTALLY unsatisfactory and I felt like I was just performing a duty, not really cleaning my teeth. By the way, using it every night, it took me a year to go through a single container. Pretty good deal if you ask me. Read more
I have been looking for decent unwaxed floss for years. Everything in the stores is waxed these days and for me, using waxed floss is like trying to scrub your face with a satin cloth. Anyway this stuff is great, I haven't had any shredding and I find the thickness to be a good compromise thin enough to get between all my teeth and thick enough to do the job. As for the case, I did have the floss fall into the case once but I found it easy to open and never had issues with it getting jammed. I haven't finished the first spool yet but already bought three more in case it goes out of stock. Read more
Gets the job done for the most part, but this does shred. Not terribly pleased with that fact, but for the price and the amount you get, it’s serviceable. Read more
Good quality dental floss. However, since it is unwaxed and a little thick, it can be harder to get in between some teeth that are tight together. Thicker than POH dental floss, which is the other type of dental floss that I use. Read more
