This is a review for "PRAISUN 0.6" Thicker Rubber Top Gym Flooring for Home Gym, 12 Pcs 48 Sq Ft Workout Mats, Exercise Mat, Interlocking Rubber Floor Mats with High Density EVA Foam for Garage, 24 x 24in, Black" ✅️ - these mats are fantastic! I have a set of similar type squares I purchased from a sporting good store. About the only thing these have in common is they are also of the puzzle piece construct your own shape idea. These squares are far superior. ✅️ - These are thicker than the normal/sporting good store versions. ✅️ - These are definitely denser than the normal/sporting good store versions. ✅️ - I have laminate flooring in my living room and have these set up in a 6 piece configuration. I do cardio, weight training and yoga on these mats. No slipping around whatsoever. ✅️ - When I do yoga, I still use my yoga mat on top of these, but not because I need the padding. I use it more to give me guidelines to stay within a pose. These mats are softer than the wooden floors at the gym (obviously) but not so soft you cannot do cardio or burpees for example. These mats are dense enough they do not absorb all your jumping inertia, but they definitely can provide padding, such as if you are doing lunges and your knee touches the ground. ✅️ - The delivery box is a little unwieldy but it isn't THAT bad. The mats are in two blocks of 6 pieces. Just think of moving the box as exercise. :-) ✅️ - I opted for the solid color black ones rather than a speckled option. I love it. It has kind of a brushed feeling to the top. ✅️ - I had been looking at the workout mats that are like a super-sized mat you might put under an exercise machine. These pads are about the same price as the larger mats, but unlike the one piece workout mat, these are highly unlikely to show or develop wear patterns and then start have little bits fleck off. Different material, better experience. ✅️ - You can also vacuum across the top of these, just like you would on a carpet or wood flooring. Since there is a tiny bit of velour like texture, you can even see the vacuum marks. Could probably sweep these, but I always just vacuum my wood flooring, so much faster. I seriously cannot say enough good things. Spend a little more than the one piece workout mat, get significantly better longevity and also more flexibility for configuration.
