These whitening trays made a decent difference in my color. I wasn't able to do them right at bedtime like the directions suggest but that didn't seem to make a difference. I like to keep my teeth looking their best. I do have a very busy schedule so anything that can cut down time spent is an enormous help. These little trays fit onto my teeth really well. I did experience a bit more salivation than I normally do but I chalk that up to my own biology. The treatment only took 30 minutes and it did leave my choppers looking dandy! Periodically I bleach my teeth and have used a variety of products but have come to prefer regular strips with low levels of bleaching agent. I own an LED light type bleaching device as well as dentist-made bleaching trays in which I have tried various strengths of bleaching agents. Each has its drawbacks. I wanted to try this product which advertises as being formulated for sensitive teeth--as being safe for enamel. The higher strength bleaching products have caused burns and tooth sensitivity, so these claims appealed to me as did the fact that this kit comes with multiple sets of trays that are pre-filled. It is true that my teeth have not become sensitive after using four of these sets of trays. I appreciate this. And, my teeth are whiter—I noticed whitening after the first use. But I found that these pre-made trays are quite awkward to use. For one thing, the bleaching compound in them causes me to salivate excessively so that I need to be near a sink while I am bleaching my teeth. The bleaching compound, which becomes liquidy, has a sour, astringent taste with a citrusy flavor. If you do purchase this set of tray kits, I suggest that you spread the compound around in the trays a bit before you insert them so that it will cover the tops and bottoms of your teeth; the compound sits at the bottom of each tray and does not necessarily reach all areas if you don’t do this. It has been a challenge for me to leave these trays in for the hour recommended. Because they are stiff and don’t fit well, the trays rock and tend to fall out if I open my mouth. This makes talking difficult. I find myself clenching my jaw to hold them in place; perhaps the structure of my mouth is different than most—I can’t say. The liquid bleaching agent does create some suction to help hold them in place, but given that I am also salivating while wearing them, I assume the viscosity of the watered-down agent is increased over the hour. The bottom tray, for me, is especially ill-fitting and moves out of place. The instructions are slim for this product, though one is advised to save and “recycle” the trays. I don’t know what this means since the trays seem to be made of a rubbery siliconized material that I can’t literally recycle with other recycled materials. Perhaps “recycling” means re-use. If the company makes a bleaching product one can use to re-fill these trays with, it is not specified in the materials that come with the set. There is considerable waste given that one ends up with fourteen trays when the bleaching process is complete. Using the common, commercial, frequently advertised adhesive strips is easier and just as effective for me. I think I will stick with strips. Read more

These are pre-filled trays, for both upper and lower teeth. They are marked accordingly. They are very easy to use. Just follow the instructions on the box. You do have to wait for 30 minutes with these trays in your mouth, which can be a bit uncomfortable. Set aside that time when you will not be talking, eating, etc. This is a 7 day treatment. It is definitely less expensive than going to a dental office for it. I have yet to see what it will look like when I have finished the 7 treatments. I did see a little bit of a difference in whitening even after the first treatment, though. The price is reasonable if you compare this to professional dental whitening procedures. And I think it will prove to be superior to whitening toothpaste alone. Read more
