My review is just going to get to the point of how actually useful this is in real life. I bought this simply to make my hobby of building PC’s easier. It is capable of that and more. The listed torque specs for this may be under-rated. Using this to drive various screws to hold CPU fans, power supplies, motherboards and case screws in, this tool never strained. In fact, I had to be light on the trigger button as once a fastener would be fully in / bottom out, the screwdriver wanted to twist out of my hand. No problem loosening anything either. Ever struggle dropping screws while attempting to attach drives or drive bay components when inadvertently using the wrong thread size of a screw? This screwdriver eliminates that issue. It will drive it in while cutting new threads from the screw you used. As for household electrical work: I recently replaced every light switch, wall receptacle, ceiling light and fans during a home remodel. I’ve been doing this kind of work for over 40 years with just hand held, manual drivers. This cordless screwdriver has been a game changer for my tired old hands now. Driving screws into freshly installed “old work” plastic electrical boxes is usually what requires the most force. This screwdriver handled doing this without issue, although it did strain a little on a few. During a full day of electrical work, I’d stop and recharge the battery once or twice, but that is a lot more work in a day that most any DIY’er would use this for. For computer assembly use, hobby or pro, this won’t disappoint. For occasional DIY repair around the house, also won’t disappoint. For professional electricians, look for a driver that is a little more powerful or at least has removable battery packs so you can swap in fresh ones when needed. This 4V Cordless Electric Screwdriver Set is perfect to have in your toolbox. It's small but provides the power you need to get the job done. It is lightweight and easy to hold. It is kind of hard to get it in some angles because it's not like a gun shape. It comes with a lot of accessory bits. They're very easy to change in and out and stay put when you have them in the tip. It's easy to charge. It comes with a really great case that zips and unzips very easily. The only issue I have is the mechanism that puts it into forward and reverse. It's very hard to move. I have to really push it and use my thumbnail almost. I wanted an easily stored rechargeable screwdriver that I could keep in a drawer or a small tool bag for small jobs. Needed for those jobs that you don’t want to go to the basement to get a 20-volt drill for just screwing in a few screws. It comes with Flat, Phillips, Hex, Torx, and Security bits. The case is large enough to add more bits or sockets if you want to add to your kit. It has quite a bit of torque for its size. You can use it just as a screwdriver and not use the power. I did that one to get the screws started. Once started, I turned it on to screw in the rest of the way. The rectangular handle is a bit odd to use, but it was easy to get used to and I don’t mind it at all now. I use it often around the house and I would recommend it to anyone. Read more
