The material was light enough that even in the August heat, I didn't feel hot or stuffy and the style allows for a trendy, casual but modest look that could be dressed with flats, heels, or even boots! It's a great length that falls just a few inches above my knee and the top fit nicely, covering enough of my shoulders to cover my bra straps (which I don't usually care about but appreciated it none the less given the event I wore it for). The material is thick enough that it’s not sheer at all, and the length is perfectly right below my kneecap, and I’m on the petite side.
