I am ordering a second one so I can sleep between them. Due to an old back/neck injury, I am a side sleeper and as I get older, my shoulders and hips hurt because I'm twisted in that position. I wanted something thick enough to support my arm and leg and reduce the twist. This does a great job! It arrived as a heavy, vacuum-packed block but by the next day it was full and thick and firmer than my old polyester fiber pillow. I slept really well, and woke up without the usual aches and pains and that's fantastic when you are 75! This is a white pillow with a zipper that holds the stuffing and a "cover" which you see in the photo that says "bamboo" on it and it also has a zipper. The description doesn't make that very clear. This pillow was supposed to be a replacement pillow for one that was left at my parents house. The pillow was not as comfortable as I expected. You are able to take the filling out to make it softer, but obviously you can't make it firmer. It also has a "chemical" smell that hasn't gone away yet. I can still smell it when I'm close to it, even though I've sprayed it with linen spray. I have a new and clean body pillowcase on it also. I was pleased that the item arrived quickly. I can say that it hasn't helped with pain relief at all. I will definitely be switching it out with my other body pillow when i get it back. This memory foam body pillow performs pretty much as it was described. It is BIG and firm but not uncomfortably so. I'm pretty stocky, 217lbs, and the pillow handles my weight pretty well. I wasn't sure I would adjust to the memory foam not beign one solid piece but it has expanded well gives you options for adjusting the level of firmness. Should have come with a cover. It came with a zippered plastic cover to hold the foam fillings and then another case. If the idea was for the customers to believe the pillow came with a cover, the attempt was not successful. This is the perfect body pillow. It has correct firmess/softness and does not make you hot. I usally sweat at night and this keeps me cool. You can remove the stuffing and get this pillow exactly the way you like it. It comes with a pillowcase that is removable for washing. I have used this pillow to relax on the couch and while sleeping in bed. It is super comfortable. It comes compressed. You must give it time to get to the normal state. It feels like you are sleeping on a cloud. This pillow has made my life better. It is a great value if you want comfort. Read more
