This arrived in a vacuum sealed bag and per instructions I gave it a week to fill out completely. A slight disappointment when it never fully expanded like the picture in the sales description (see my pictures taken after a week). Other than the thickness issue, just know it is nothing like a memory foam topper, but does help cushion the hard mattress for a more comfortable night's sleep. The 21" deep pockets make the mattress protector fit snugly and it does not move around on the bed or bunch up under you while sleeping. The material is soft and is waterproof without any noisy crunchy sounds when you roll around. I would classify this as something between a mattress cover and a mattress pad. Really nice pad. It's soft and plush, but also super heavy and thick. It barely fit in standard washer & dryer. Might want to pass on this if you need to wash frequently due to children or elderly nighttime accidents. Read more
I’m really impressed with this waterproof mattress topper. It fits our queen bed perfectly, and the deep pockets keep it from sliding around, even if you move a lot at night. The pillow-top padding is soft and adds a noticeable layer of comfort — my back has actually been hurting less since we started using it. What I love most is that it’s genuinely waterproof. This pad will make your bed/mattress more comfortable. A nice way to avoid mattress replacement in some cases. After testing this pad, I can say that it is not to soft or firm. It offers good support. Most importantly (to me) it is not hot. It has the word bamboo printed on it so perhaps that is the magic? The pad has a nice quilted top. This keeps the filler distributed evenly. That means no bumps or flat spots. It has deep pockets for attachment so it will fit most mattresses easily. My mattress is 14 inches and it was no problem. It did not move around when sleeping on it. When sleeping I noticed it was plush and added comfort without being too soft. There were no pressure points on my body. I think this pad will last. The elastic is strong for attaching and it seems to be sewn with good thread. After a weeks worth of sleep it did not lose its shape or loosen in terms of securely holding to the mattress. The media could not be loaded. My husband and I have been discussing a new mattress so getting this has put a pin in that. This has been a comfortable sleep every night for both of us. No back pain! I don’t wake up feeling like I slept on the floor! That in itself was amazing I didn’t know how much a difference these made. It’s pretty thick and fluffy it’s soft and fit perfectly on my queen mattress. Gives padding to your back. It’s waterproof and that’s good bc our son loves climbing on the bed with his sippy cup. It’s breathable and looks pretty on even though you will cover it up with your fitted sheet. Super happy with this purchase our backs are too! Read more
