I love these mirrors so much! I’ve been using the extra-large (11.8") version and have been raving about it so much that my daughter asked for one too. Since her vanity is a bit smaller, we got her the large 8.5" mirror — the perfect size for her college dorm room. The Vesaur mirror is an excellent lighted makeup mirror, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality option. The build feels solid, and I really appreciate the three lighting settings and dimmable feature. Because it plugs in, the light stays consistently bright. It also came with a small suction magnifying mirror for close-up detail work — a great surprise bonus! I’ve found I much prefer applying my makeup in front of this well-lit mirror rather than standing at the bathroom sink. It’s a total game changer for daily use. Love this mirror, very high quality for the price the base is very sturdy. Very easy to use, it sits on my vanity and doesn’t take up too much space. One of the best features is the auto off after 1 hour, I always forget to turn off the mirror before I leave for work. You can charge it up and then no cord on the vanity. I have been needing to replace my electric vanity mirror for some time (incandescent light too dim, 5x not enough magnification anymore), and for years have been using potable battery powered 10x magnification mirrors, but the constant replacement of batteries becomes expensive. Most full size vanity mirrors in this price range are rechargeable now, I prefer the stability of a consistent plug-in power supply, hence my final decision in choosing the VESAUR Professional 8.5” Lighted Mirror. This mirror can be plugged into the wall via a provided usb cord (the actual usb plug is not included, just used an appropriate one I already had), or can be powered by 4 AA batteries. The three color settings can easily be changed and dimmed by a button on the base. The brightest setting is bright enough to see well, but not blindingly bright (like another mirror I had when new batteries were installed). Both the 1x and 10x side are lighted. I’ve included photos of the three light colors on the 10x side. It is a little difficult to see the difference between the white and natural in the photos, but in real life it’s very distinguishable. I primarily use the 10x side, unlike cheaper 10x mirrors, most of the viewing area is clear and distortion free (you do need to be within inches, of course). The design of the mirror is tasteful and transitional, it is not heavy, but is weighty enough to feel stable on my vanity. This mirror is stylish, bright, and has great clarity — perfect for makeup and skincare routines. The lighting is adjustable and evenly distributed, which I really appreciate. This is the best magnifying mirror I have owned. I have limited vision in one of my eyes and this mirror is bright and the magnification covers the majority of the mirror. Many 10x mirrors only put the magnification in the center which can make it difficult to see. It also can make you somewhat dizzy. I had tried a less expensive one from a big box Arthur our 2nd home. It was nauseating to look into. This is now my 2nd mirror from this company and it’s so much better! As a vision impaired person this mirror is well worth the cost. Read more

The media could not be loaded. The 8.5'' Make up mirror is a great addition to your existing vanity/make-up station. If you don't like to hang your make-up mirror on the wall, this would be a good alternative. Mirror in itself does not have any built in internal battery or have the capacity to hold battery. Some of the pictures shows that it is able to hold AA battery, ignore that picture. The mirror will not light up unless you plug in the power cable. The light on the mirror gives you options to change brightness and color based on where you are going (outdoor, indoor, night time) so you can adjust your make-up according to the environment. The light at the brightest setting is not overwhelming or too bright that it hurts your eye but give you plenty of light. At the lowest setting, it is still bright enough to use. I use this everyday to do make-up, clean my pores, make-up removal, etc. I find the 10x mirror to be the perfect amount of zoom to do almost everything, and the image on the mirror is not distorted. It is simple to use the mirror with the light, and it does not take up that much real estate. Edit (01/16/2025): I reached out to seller about the pictures they have for the product includes/show a picture of this mirror having the ability to use AA battery. That picture was confusing. Seller reached out quickly, letting me know the image was a mistake, and will take care of it. I am upgrading my review from 1 star to 5 stars because of excellent customer service.
