I bought the Langsum dental tools because I was tired of waiting for dentist cleanings to deal with stubborn stains, plaque and tartar. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. The tools feel solid and professional, with a nice weight in the hand, nothing flimsy about them. The first time I used them, I could tell the quality was good. The scraper and pick reached spots my toothbrush and floss never seem to get, especially behind my lower front teeth. It was a little intimidating at first, but once I got the hang of it, it felt easy and effortless. My teeth felt smoother right away, like I had just had a cleaning at the dentist. I also really appreciate the little storage case. It keeps everything organized and clean. For me, this kit helps me feel more confident about my smile in between cleanings. I honestly didn’t think something this affordable would feel so professional, but I’m really glad I took a chance on it. Thank you Read more

Material seems of very good quality. Sharp enough to dig though them stubborn plagues in teeth. Clean look , easy to clean off. I love the slim case. These tools function well as intended. I will buy again in future. Good grip to hold in place so it doesn't slip away. Read more

I'm gratefu I purchased these tools! The tools looks just like the photos, the case is very sturdy and can be tough to open but I personally like it. I got my fur baby a few months ago and previous owners didn't really take care of her teeth as often. She had build up mostly on her canines and I've been brushing often but the build up didn't seem to come off. Teeth cleaning can be very expensive so I decided to make this purchase to see if I could get it off on my own first. With a lot of patience I was able to get off the build up and now her teeth are clean. Read more

I have given this product 3 Stars which is indicated as fair... I will update the review accordingly after some time and use of the product. Unfortunately these are not pressed with a metal code, so it is really hard to tell what kind of stainless steel they are (I might have to grind one to see what kind of sparks it lets off). Since there is no indicator, they are probably not “professional grade stainless steel” as advertised... What I can tell you is they look nice and are highly, highly, magnetic. This means it is not austenitic stainless steel, but a more common martensitic stainless steels (containing a ferritic microstructure). But what does that mean????? From what I can tell/based on research done via the web, non-magnetic stainless steel is used in professional grade medical tools and implants because magnetic stainless steel can interfere with pacemakers and such. Non-magnetic stainless steel is due to a high nickel content, and these products usually have a special coating on them to stop harmful radiation and leaking metals from the nickel itself. I am sorry, but I know this just makes things more confusing haha. I will test these out for the time being; however, I advise that if they start to rust or give off a funny metallic taste, that you should stop using them immediately (this indicates that they are not actually stainless steel, and can be very very harmful to you or your pet). The only other thing I can say about these are they are made in China (as indicated on the package). Although most of our products are now made in China, it is important to note that their quality control and standards are lower than other countries. This is why people tend to buy products made in Europe or North America, where the regulations are more strict. Some may argue that this does not matter as long as it is made by humans, but let us be real... a machine made these, not humans. Also, you should be very concerned with the quality of materials you ingest or place in your mouth (I do not know about you, but I am not looking for lead poisoning anytime soon). All that being said, only time will tell what kind of material this is really made of; unless you are able to locate and travel to the laboratory/shop where these were made. A printed metal code would have been nice, but I guess that leaves you open to lawsuits if it is not the type of stainless steel advertised or printed. Ultimately, I hope they are not harmful, but I would advise that you use them sparingly on yourself or your pet (also, as others have mentioned, it is illegal for anyone without a dental license to use these to clean another person’s teeth; that is technically practicing dentistry without a license). Although it can be expensive and uncomfortable, going to the dentist is really the best option for teeth cleaning. I would only use these if you have some plaque that is really bugging you, but be careful not to scratch too hard or you could do permanent damage to your enamel. I know this is a really long review, but I hope it helps you make a decision for the best! Read more
