perfect for walking on hardwood floors in tabi

AmbienceNovember 13, 2008

I love these profoot 2 oz miracle soles! They come in women's size from 6 to ___. and I have cut them out to fit my tabi (Japanese cotton split toed socks that I use in my new Japanese classical dance class), and the soles are so thin, lightweight, and flexible and give the right amount cushioning so that I can slide and glide along the floor with much less pain. I also use them inside my walking shoes for work, and in my hiking trekkers and they are very comfortable. I used to wear these other specially crafted orthotics made through my podiatrist and they were absolutely necessary when I first developed plantar fasciitis, and had worn them for 8 years but found that my feet had gotten so inflexible and used to the orthotics that my feet never went back to its normal flexibility and strength. Using these thin Profoot 2 oz miracle (it has to say the "2oz. miracle" since Profoot makes many styles)has tremendously helped my feet. Love them. These would be perfect for the person who need more than the usual amount of foot support (because they "mold" to the feet) but less than the rigid, hard orthotics I have been using for 8 years. I hope they never quit making these!!!!! Read more

A GOOD ORTHODIC FOR THE MONEY

marlene mJanuary 9, 2021

look you can go out and buy an expensive orthodic....but for the money these work...well. i have been using pro foot for years. and so disappointed cannot find them in any retail store offline anymore. stopped using them for about a year...and my feet were miserable..and my back to. it is amazing that just a little support can change the way you walk and feel. i even put them into my socks....in the house walking around. it makes such a huge difference...i made them into sock slippers...be careful washing them. they are washable but they can become flimsey . the gel orthodics do not work for me...there is something about the molding with these that for years...have helped my arches..and p.s. i started using them many years ago when i developed a very painful foot condition called planter fascitis which takes a long time to heal once it starts:( make sure you get the right size as thats most important. our feet are important and these are so worth the money. These insoles are very comfortable. I actually ordered these a long time ago ...

SondraSeptember 28, 2016

These insoles are very comfortable. I actually ordered these a long time ago and had misplaced them, but found them just in time. The regular insoles of a pair of my shoes came unglued, and they were very thin uncomfortable insoles anyways. I cut these insoles to the correct size and slipped them in my shoes, and they fit perfectly! Now I can wear these shoes for many days to come! I would definitely recommend getting these if you are on the fence. They are foam material and are not super thick like some are. If you just need a little extra cushion or you need to replace the insoles in some shoes like I had, these are perfect for the price. Read more

Worth a try

Brandy AlexanderOctober 26, 2016

This is my first time trying an innersole. I have fat wide feet . My feet have been hurting and feeling tired lately. I purchased a pair of the Skechers Go walk shoes but my feet still hurt. I decided to try an innersole. These innersole arrive unsized. There is a marked template on the sole and you cut off the excess material based on your shoe size. This was super easy. I reccomend leaving a little extra material on till you try them in your shoe ...Then you can trim off the extra bit if need be. They are quite soft and squishy. I was not impressed at first but after day on my feet at work I like them ! They defiantly help cushion my feet from the concrete floors at work. I would not say they cured my issues with pain completely ... They are an improvement and make work bearable again. They are cheap enough to "try" One thing I want to mention, they add height to your feet if put into the shoe over the existing innersole ( my shoes does not have removable innersole) The extra thickness causes my foot to rub at the toes... I am ok with that for now. Read more

Perfect for street shoes & boots!

NYCDecember 4, 2019

I absolutely love these insoles. I don't know what I'd do without them. They're the only ones out there that are this thin, and have arch support. The thinness doesn't mean less cushion. It means you can actually fit them in your shoes - as in dressier shoes and boots. Including ballet flats. And they're not stiff so as to deform the form of the shoe (as in the arch support area - the middle sides). Perfect for shoes where the manufacturer only offers whole sizes when I'm between sizes. Not too much cushion under the toes and/or heel that I don't fit the shoes. Or that my foot rests so high that I can't keep my heels in the shoes. People have complained about the loss of some thicker ones that were blue. Maybe. But then the manufacturer needs to make two different types. These are the only insoles that are this thin, and offer arch support. I bought 6 pair as I use them in everything now that the soles of my feet have developed sensitivity. They make all my shoes feel like sneakers (Provided they don't have stiff, hard soles to begin with). I highly recommend all the insoles this company makes. Read more

They're great when they're new

TerryJuly 22, 2015

They're great when they're new, but after about 2 weeks, they go flat and don't really provide a lot of cushioning. And, as other people have said in their reviews, they get caught on your socks and pull out of the shoe, so when you put on your shoes, you have to completely open the laces so you can slide your foot in without coming into contact with the insole. Best insoles for regular footed people

KristinJuly 20, 2017

These are by far my favorite insoles ever, and I've tried a lot. Every job I've held since in the last 10 years required lots of standing and walking so I've experimented with a lot of expensive insoles that simply suck. These insoles make unbearable shoes bearable. With a decent shoe these insoles can help you get through an 8 hour shift with less pain than normal. It's so simple but they work so well. They are also very thin and compress down into an impression of your foot after a couple of wears. Read more
