I'm very impressed with this 'Project Ad', Sweet' N Glow, Zero Calorie Sugar Free Sweet'Ner (with collagen building agents). I like how well the product dissolves into water (or whatever beverage you choose). It has a nice salted caramel flavor, which adds a nice pleasant taste to it. This jar contains 30 servings, which is nice; it'll last me at least a month. I'm newer to using collagen powders, but thus far, it's been helpful in many ways to my daily life. I'm not a doctor or health expert, so there's only so much I can say in my review here; but I will say this has helped me in all of the ways stated on the listing. This is a great product, and I'm already very pleased with its efficacy and quality; I'm looking forward to seeing how this works for me longer-term. I have used this on watermelon, strawberries, and even in overnight oats. + You can get creative with this stuff; it tastes good. For years now I have been curious about the practice of ingesting collagen. I have also been thinking about trying a sugar substitute for my morning tea since I'm diabetic. This product appears to address both those concerns. Sucralose is the sweetener used in this product, and it has been around for a long time. As a matter of fact it is the main ingredient for another sugar substitute whose brand name you have all heard. Sucralose is generally considered safe for consumption and FDA approved. This sweetener is chemically derived from sugar but is 600 times sweeter. Intensely sweet. A little goes a long way. The addition of ingestible collagen is what makes this sweetener unique. There are many purported health benefits listed on the product page for collagen, but as far as the scientific community - the jury is out. Still, there are no documented negative side effects, so I figure why not? In general, from what I have read, any benefits in skin hair or nails derived from ingesting collagen would take about 6 weeks before any noticeable changes happen. Fine. I can wait. I do love the concept of an enhanced sugar substitute and was excited to add this to my morning tea routine. Unfortunately, I have tried it in varying amounts in my cup of morning tea and it is just so overwhelmingly sweet I find that I can't drink it. I had the good fortune of trying the Salted Caramel flavor which apparently isn't on market yet. Be on the edge of your seats waiting for it. It's incredibly delicious. I am always on the lookout for products that will enhance my body's ability to produce collagen so this fits my needs. It's always nice when a supplement sneaks into something like a sweetener and doesn't noticeably alter the flavor. One thing I don't understand is the addition of probiotics. I'm happy to have them but I don't see any food for them in the ingredients so I put a pinch of konjac root powder in my coffee to feed them. I'm not even sure they eat soluble fiber but most gut friendly bacteria do so I have my fingers crossed. Read more
I was quite surprised at how tasty this sweetener is. Usually non-sugar sweeteners taste like chemicals or overly sweet in a very fake way. To my surprise, this tastes very similar to natural sugar that has been flavored - in my case, this was salted caramel flavored. It is absolutely delicious. It is tan colored and has a fine sugarly texture and dissolves easily. It does not take a lot to sweeten whatever you are eating or drinking, so use sparingly. This is not a bad thing btw. I can just stretch this product out which is fantastic because the flavoring agent (salted caramel) made my coffee truly taste like dessert. This sweetener kind of blew me away. The salted caramel flavor is very effective and quite nice, though it uses sucralose for its sweetener so it has that slight off taste still, but it's not bad. The stuff is VERY powerful. One full scoop is waaaay too much for a single coffee even when accounting for cream and such. May well end up getting more when this runs out, I'm enjoying it a lot more than my usual sugar free sweetener syrups and I think it might actually last me more drinks than the big bottles.
