The fabric of this pillow is fine with a nice, soft color. It came with a silk-like lining to cover the face of the pillow, but it does not stay during sleep, so I cannot use it. The pillow is not soft on the face. I understand it needs to be somewhat hard to keep the air holes open, but one feels the pressure on the chin, cheeks and eye sockets. I might get used it with repetition! I think if the pillow rested about an inch below the face, it might have applied less pressure, because the angle of the neck would move downwards, about 5 degrees. However, a single pillow cannot accomplish this. Since it is hard it is not easy to make it smaller and pack. I do not think that my points are specific to this brand, I'd imagine all are similar. I will keep it, because it's better than what I currently have, but meanwhile I will look for something that extends the bed like in massage tables. Read more

Because of my shoulder issue, I sometimes sleep on stomach to relieve pain. My old massage pillow was not well designed, which did not leave ventilation space for breathing. This pillow resolved the breathing problem and greatly reduced my neck pain. Love it! Read more

I purchased for sleeping face down. Air flow was good, even better when I put the pillow on cutting board. The cover has a flap that covers the zipper. After some use, the flap popped up, but it nor the zipper were anywhere near my face. Read more
