This PS5 Stand and Cooling Station has been keeping my PS5 cool and organized. The setup was easy, and it fits my PS5 perfectly. The cooling fans work surprisingly well; they are bit louder when you have all 3 fans going. I’ve noticed that the console runs cooler and quieter when I use it. What I really love is how it doubles as a stand—there’s no more worrying about where to put my PS5. Love that the control storage doubles as a charger, keeping everything neat and in one place. The extra USB ports is clutch for charging controllers or other accessories. I’m not using it 24/7, but it definitely gives me peace of mind when I’m gaming for long stretches. The cooling station is an affordable way to extend the life of your PS5 and keep it in tip-top shape. Read more

I can confirm this works for ps5 pro. Does attach and screw on. Be sure to leave to not tighten to tight as you need a little wiggle room to make sure controllers sit properly for a charge. The only gripe I have is if the ps5 is off not in sleep mode the controllers do not charge. I have purchased a small table that has usb plug ins and will use that vs the ps5 power to fix this. Aside from that fans are powerful enough for me to feel safe the ps5 is getting adequate cooling. Read more

Generall speaking, it's a fine PS5 base/dock. There are some odd decisions regarding controller connections and I question the efficacy of the cooling fans, but this is one of the better docks available. The price is reasonable. If I were in the market for one again I'd probably try another option but not because this one is bad, just that it's unremarkable. Main Points: -Matching color scheme and overall "feel", though the design language doesn't really match the PS5s sweeping lines. Still not as cheap looking or was a jarring of a design difference as some other docks available. Looks like it belongs with the Ps5, though it could be better -Fans are quiet, though not silent. On my computer desk I can certainly hear them as they're likely very cheap fans running at high rpm, however if you're on the sofa, they're unlikely to bother you. You can also just never turn them on if you want. -Cooling performance is suspect. The fans pull air away from the PS5 but vent at the bottom of the dock directly into the tabletop surface the PS5 is on. The 4 feet of the dock are very low and provide minimal space for air flow, so it's questionable how much, if any, cooling they really provide - For controller charging they opted to go with USB-C dongles that plug into the top of the controller and have a magnet and charging contact on them. The controller is then placed upside down in the dock with the magnet holding the controller. The solution works just fine but with other docks opting to make use of the charging contacts already build into the bottom of the controller, it seems an odd decision to opt for dongles. As a positive, despite the dock only being able to charge 2 controllers, 4 usb-c dongles are included, so you get two extras. -The front of the dock has pictures of two controllers that light up red or green to indicate charging level. This is unnecessary as the PS5 controllers themselves light up to show you when they're charging. They just end up looking rather cheap on the dock. Green is to show that the controller is charged and red that it's charging. But in reality the light up indicator pictures are always green except when actively charging, meaning if you have no controller in the dock at all, it still shows green. I'd have preferred they avoid this altogether. Read more

At first I really liked it. I have had it for 2 months and it has done an okay job. I bought this item because I will play for a couple hours and the PlayStation was getting hot. I wanted something to be able to keep my PlayStation from over heating. The 3 speed fan does not keep the PlayStation cool enough though. Even when it was working, the PlayStation still be hot at times. I know it is okay for the PlayStation to get hot, but I wanted to make sure I took extra care of this because of how expensive the PlayStation was. The fans in this product only lasted two months. I still have the stand, but it is more of a paperweight the holds my PlayStation. Also, the "charging" area for the controllers is useless unless you get an adapter peice to plug into your controller. Overall, I was really excited at first when it worked but am disappointed now that it had already quit working. I would not recommend this to anyone. It is cheaper for a reason. It does not last more then a couple months. Read more
