I think this shirt is as good as any of the brand name versions. I was really happy to see that it has a lot of the same features, including the ability to hold up the sleeves and make it short-sleeved. This is made of a very lightweight and flowy material - perfect for days when you want sun protection, but not wear anything heavy. I purchased this specifically for horseback riding and it was perfect. It dries very quickly and did a great job at keeping me cool. I think this shirt fits true to size, is very comfortable, washes well, is a great shirt for the price, and the blue color is not sheer. I highly recommend this shirt. Read more
I love the fit and the material. I travel often and to hot locations where there are risks of malaria. I am excited to now have lightweight long sleeve shirts that I can roll the sleeves during the day. The venting in the back is not conspicuous and doesn't alter the fit of the shirt. The buttons all worked well which was a complaint i read regarding other brands. This shirt is designed so the size XS actually fits a small person. I wear a 34 on top and am just under 5 ft tall, 104 lbs. The shirt still has some room to breathe because a snug shirt is often hotter. I received the first one and liked it so much i now have it three colors. The vivid blue is really pretty. I also have the gulf stream and the sunlit. The color of the sunlit is a shade of yellow that verges on having a tint of lime green in it. So not lemon. I am very happy with it since it should looks nice with my khaki and olive hiking trousers. Read more
The fabric of this shirt is soft, thin, cooling, and fast-drying, similar to those Columbia fishing shirts, making this a good shirt for outdoor activities in hot and/or humid weather. I wore this shirt on a 4-week trip to Thailand. I washed it in the evening, and it dried the next morning in the hotel rooms. The thinness of the fabric made it easy to wash it out by hand in a sink. I also like the sunglasses loop and wipe. The wipe is handy for cleaning camera lenses and phone screens as well. I do have 2 complaints. First, the size runs big. I'm 5'2" and 100 lbs. The x-small is both baggy and too long. Second, the fabric gets worn out easily and so I don't expect this shirt to last very long. Halfway through its first trip there was already broken threads. So I was looking for a shirt for an upcoming safari and I ordered three of similar styles/colors from Amazon to compare. This is the winner. On first opening I undid the buttons on the three shirts and this was the smoothest. However I did notice stray lengths of cotton from the stitching that will need to be cut off. For me personally it's the best color, although obviously but not really a reason to recommend to others. It also has the most flattering fit, although one of the other shirts I purchased was a size up by mistake. It is slightly fitted and the design just looks nice from the outset. I like the tab for glasses and the built on cleaning cloth. I can't really imagine using the breast pockets but they look the part. One of the other shirts was very staticky but this was not. The material on all three otherwise seems similar. The one possible negative on this shirt is that the sleeves are quite tight once rolled up. I have pretty skinny arms so it's not an issue for me, but I think it may be for others. I will update the review once we take the safari and I've worn it properly. Read more
Wow, I'm buying this again! I bought this shirt for hiking and backpacking and it has exceeded my expectations. It is so lightweight and breathable that it felt amazing to wear and was easy to pack away in my bag. I loved the deep green color and it matched perfectly with some hiking pants I bought also in forest green. The material is thin but durable, and as someone who wears glasses, that glasses cleaner built into it was a life saver! It has been in the washing machine and came out perfectly fine, no shrinkage, wrinkles, or fading. My only complaint for me was that it was a bit long, but it was fine to tuck in and otherwise fit me perfectly. I think this shirt is great for the price and will last me a long time and see many more hiking trails. Read more

Nice, lightweight outdoor shirt. Looks good and fits well. I would have rated it higher, but the only pockets are chest pockets with Velcro closure. When I put my phone in the pocket, the weight would not allow full closure and the Velcro shredded my lower sleeve from the walking movement. Read more
