This is a nice, simple soap. It makes a rich, creamy lather and makes my skin feel clean all day but not stripped of moisture. The bar is large and seems to be of average value compared to other soaps with natural ingredients. My only complaint would be that I wished I could smell the cucumber and eucalyptus. That seems like it would be such a clean and pleasant scent and was what attracted me to this soap in the first place, but it’s pretty much unscented. On the whole, though, I would recommend! Average bar of soap. Really nothing stand out about this soap. The smell is nice, it lathers up pretty well, though does not the thickest lather. It leaves skin pretty soft, but nothing I'd seek out again. Not worth $8 in my opinion. It's an average sized bar of soap. Read more
I really liked the thick lather that this bar of soap created. It felt luxuriously creamy as I used it in the shower. The bar is fairly large, but softens quickly when wet, so to make it last, it is probably best to make sure it can dry well between uses. After showering with this, my dry skin feels soft, smooth, and slightly moisturized; a better result than most soaps give me. I think I will really like this as my daily shower soap. As other reviewers have noted, the soap has very little scent. The ingredients list does include Cucumis Sativus Extract and Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil which matches the Cucumber & Eucalyptus description, but there is too little to be discernible to me. This is a very large bar of soap. After using it once or twice a day for two and a half weeks, it still remains quite large. It should last quite a while, making it a good value. I use the soap in a mesh soap bag, which helps create a great lather. It leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean without being stripped or dry. The only thing that disappointed me about this bar is the lack of scent. I couldn't detect any eucalyptus or cucumber. While the bar does have a scent, I'm not exactly sure what it is—perhaps it's shea butter or one of the oils in the soap. There was a sticker on the box covering the ingredients, which didn't help. I love the way this soap feels, leaving a fresh, squeaky-clean feeling after each shower, with no "filmy" feeling or after-shower residue. I don't particularly like its scent, though: I cannot make out cucumber nor eucalyptus, and it ends up being essentially fragrance-free (If you're into that, though, this may be a perfect soap for you). Been using this for about a month now and I'm pretty impressed. I have sensitive skin that gets irritated by most commercial soaps, but this one has been gentle and doesn't leave me feeling tight or itchy after showering. The cucumber eucalyptus scent is really pleasant - fresh and spa-like without being overpowering. My boyfriend even commented that I smell good after using it, which doesn't happen with my usual unscented stuff. It's subtle enough that it doesn't clash with my perfume either. The lather is nice and creamy, not that thin foam you get with cheap bars. Leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized, which is huge for me since I usually have to slather on lotion immediately after showering. With this soap I can actually skip the lotion sometimes. I have been really liking this soap… and it is lasting a while. The soap doesn’t generate a lot of suds… but also doesn’t melt away quickly. The smell is very light. I have a ton of skin allergies, and this soap has caused no irritation, redness, or itching. It’s very smooth… and when the bar arrives, it’s larger than a standard bar of soap. Read more
