Works great. Better quality and durability than the “standard” doorframe pull-up bar for sure. Get it. You’ll like it. Read more

So this is my own fault for not realizing my door frames are slightly too wide for this chin-up bar to fit in a single door frame in my house, but alas, tis true. We definitely don’t have unusually-sized doors, so my advice is: measure your door frames and compare to the measurements shown on the product listing to find out if your door is one of the apparently rare exceptions that this “fits almost any doorway” product won’t actually fit. That said, the chin-up bar itself is sturdy and strong when assembled. I deducted a star because the instructions, which seemed like they should be simple, were actually pretty confusing because the two pieces with the angled parts that hook over the door frame were configured the exact opposite to how they’re pictured in the instructions, which threw me off completely. I eventually realised that I could apply pressure on the bars and flip those pieces around so they’d actually match the instructions, followed by the realization that they’d need to be turned 90 degrees to the bar in order to put it in a doorframe anyway. Followed, of course, by the realization that it wasn’t going to fit in my door regardless. Anyway, once I figured out the “actual vs. pictured” orientation issue, it was easy enough to assemble the bar. And even if I can’t use it in a door frame for its intended purpose, it does have other uses; when placed on the floor, you can use it to assist with seated dips and pull-ups, and it be used for sit-ups too. So not a total loss. Read more

Fits well in the doorway no problems Read more
Arrived damaged with torn foam grip on one side, otherwise it mounts on doorframe as advertised. Other than the damage it seems to be a great product. Just wish whomever assembled the grip would have been more conscientious. Read more
