Heavy Duty and Better Than Most
Bought this to mount above the door in my office. The white color does help it blend in a bit to the trim of a home interior. The bar itself is incredibly over-built and strong, but of course it will only be as sturdy as your mounting. I used a stud finder and the included lag bolts and it feels rock solid. I think it's a bonus that there are carabiners so you can do TRX style workouts as well. I find the grip width / angle and grip options quite comfortable. Read more
Solid, simple.
Solid with a few modifications. Very easy to install with the simple steps given on the sheet inside. I'm sure it would hold my 165 lb weight, but I love my house too much, which is why I hate the cheap pull-up props that damages the nice trim. The 1/2" hex bolts are thick too. Added a 3/4" wood spacer from a pallet to beef it up a bit more. Placed all 4 bolts on the upper slot, with 1 self-drilling 3" torx screw on each side. This thing can take kipping or 200 lb crossfitters without creeking the walls. Pre-drill to make it easier if you dont have an electric impact gun. You could honestly even prop it outdoors, which was going to be on my shed as a 2nd/future choice. Read more
Sturdy and strong with zero doubts about failure
I screwed this into an outdoor pergola and I have zero doubts this will fail or fall apart. It comes with everything you need to install except power tools obviously. Size is pretty good, and it comes with these carabiners that you can mount really anything you want. I don't use the carabiners for any exercises but the seem sturdy, I currently use them for a clothes line lol. Read more
