I've really gotten into a groove of giving my dogs plush toys for the most part. They get bully sticks and other various chews. Plus, I've recentlly added some interactive toys to the repertoire. But, being completely honest, I have considered this type of latex toys to be old fashioned and just something we don't use anymore. I mean, this is the material used for making dog toys that my childhood dog had (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth). I just considered them outdated and thought we had "improved" dog toys. And, full disclosure, I didn't realize that was the type of toy these were when I ordered them. I'm here to tell you that this was the best mistake I have made in a really long time. At first I was so disappointed to see them. But then my dogs saw them! And they went completely wild! My chihuahua and dachshund puppy are head over heels IN LOVE with these toys! They will chase each other through the house trying to steal them back from each other constantly. They can easily make them squeak for themselves and it makes them super happy. The bright colors make them easy for me to find when they end up under a table or sofa (or the yard). None of the faces seem to be wearing off or anything. And when they get dirty, I can just wash them off really quickly in the sink. But the absolute BEST thing about these toys. And I mean it's like genius level amazing... The puppy can't rip the squeaker out!!!! The entire toy is a squeaker. There's nothing to attract them to pull this apart and find what's inside. They don't feel any sort of thing in there, so they feel no need to destroy it and get what's inside out. It's just one big, round, bright colored, squeaky, soft thing to play with. They are in heaven. Oh... and size... not a problem. At first I didn't think my little guy would be able to manage it. He was just under 6 pounds when they arrived. But it didn't take him any time to figure out how to get it in his mouth. Now, at 7.6 pounds, he runs around with these things like a champ. Because, yes! They are actually here a couple months later! All four are still here, still squeaking, and still super popular. I only wish I could give these things more than 5 stars! Read more

I dog sit my friend's dachshund who loves these kind of sqeaky dog toys. Thes are larger than the ones that my friend has which I like. Luna had a blast playing with these toys. They appear to be very durable but only time will tell. I will update my review if needed. Read more
