My puppy absolutely LOVES these bully sticks. I am always on the hunt for products that contain few ingredients. These fit the bill with only 1 ingredient. These bully sticks keep my dog engaged for long periods of time, while cleaning his teeth at the same time. Although, they are smoked for taste, they don't have any odor. They come in two sizes ( 6" and 12") for you to choose what size is best for your pet. As my puppy is 14 weeks old, I also use them to redirect he when she is biting or chewing. My new Maltipoo really loves these. This keeps him occupied so that he doesn’t eat all of the ends off of my tennis shoes when I forget to put them away and leave them in his path. I like these because they’re thick enough that he can chew on them for a while and they don’t smell. I made the mistake of getting some other ones thinking they would be the same and they smell like the zoo. These have a smoked flavor added to them, and so they smell like a smoked bone versus a zoo animal. We run through these every few weeks. I will see if there is a longer version of the same stick. The Engage Dog Chews Bully Sticks were a great fit for my 28 pound poodle mix. She really enjoyed chewing on them. They lasted 3-4 hours which is longer than any other bully stick I've given her has lasted. On the other hand my 55 pound pit mix had hers eaten in around 15-20 minutes. She very much enjoyed the treat, however, I was hoping it would keep her entertained longer. The package had 4 sticks that were about 6 inches long. 3 of them were about the same diameter as a classic sharpie marker. The fourth was about 50% bigger around than the others. They are pretty solid. I was not able to break them in half. They lack the strong odor some bully sticks have which was a big plus for me! The pack I received had an expiration date of 10/22/24 - roughly 2 years out. Would I say these are for large or extra large aggressive chewes? No, but what natural chew is? They are a great fit for small and medium dogs. Good for large dogs as long as expectations are realistic. Both of my dogs enjoyed them and I will probably buy these again for a special treat. I find them somewhat expensive, but my dogs do love them. Some dog owners have concerns about young dogs eating them. They are afraid the pup might choke on the last bit of the chew. We haven't had that problem. Our dog is a year old. Read more

So we gave these to our 25lb. doodle who can chew through most things quickly. The first one he had absolutely no interest in and at first we were thinking there just wasn't any flavor so that's why he ignored it. We next gave him a stick that was darker, thinking that one might have more flavor, that one he settled down to chew on. He's had it most of the day and has periodically chewed on it and there is still 2/3 left, so it does last. I guess our complaint would be that some of the sticks might not be flavorful enough to entice dogs that are not natural chewers. Also, the sticks are rather thin, so perhaps best suited for smaller dogs. Read more

The bully sticks are great. And no smell. My ridgeback LOVES them. Unfortunately she can’t digest them. I believe it’s because she has a sensitive stomach as other similar products do the same thing to her. I passed along what I had left to a friend & her dog loves them and has no issue. Read more
