My skin is usually normal-to-dry, but in the colder months it becomes very dry. I live in a place with low humidity, plus my skin is mature. I go through a lot of lotions and moisturizers. This is why I was interested in this PURA D'OR HydraRenew Intense Moisturizing Lotion for Ultra Dry Skin. Pros: - Well-sealed. No leaking nor residue on the bottle. - Dispenses well. - Thick, creamy lotion that doesn't feel heavy. - Absorbs quickly and well. - No irritation or allergy effects. - Skin looks and feels less dry. - No parabens, sulfates, artificial dye, artificial fragrance, nor silicones. Cruelty-free. Plant-based. - Reasonable value. - Trusted brand that I used years ago. Good quality. Cons: - None. I've used Pura D'or products in the past, but it has been quite a few years ago. I've always thought they had good quality products. This lotion is also good quality. It has made my tight, dry skin feel so much better. It looks much better, too. I really dislike heavy, greasy lotions, but this one soaks in well. It doesn't feel heavy nor greasy. I use it on my hands and body. For my body, I put a little on my palms then spread it over my still damp body. It hydrates without any residue getting on my clothing or bedding. My hands are doing much better this winter after using this lotion, even after doing dishwashing. Overall, it's a good lotion. The ingredients are good quality, without any parabens, sulfates, or synthetic dyes/fragrances. I like that it is plant-based and cruelty-free. A convenient locking pump is already installed but the pump does take some patience to get the lotion flowing. I almost gave up but it eventually worked. The lotion is medium weight and takes some time to absorb. It’s very hydrating without being sticky or oily. It has a light Bergamot smell that is not overwhelming and does not linger much.
