The taste of these Gummies were not really good. They’re kind of bland and they have an odd taste about them that I can’t really explain. It kind of waxy dull taste. The consistency as you chew are too smooth (I didn’t think there was such a thing, but there is), and they fall apart in your mouth as you chew them. If it wasn’t for the good date, I would’ve thought that they had expired because of how they taste and feel as you eat them. Read more
I've been using a lot of different product that contain collagen in different forms, including capsules, gummies, and powders to be mixed in shakes. There are several types of collagen: This one is derived from marine sources (fish scales and skin), which is considered type I. That's my favored source. These gummies provide a higher dose per serving than other collagen gummies I've tried. It's important to keep in mind that with some products the dose is listed in micrograms (mcg), which may lead one to think that the dose is higher than it is. A similar product I tried recently was listed as providing 50,000 mcg. That's 50 milligrams (mg). This formula provides 99 mg, which is better than average based on my experience. Note that these don't contain sugar, but they do contain sugar alcohols, which are typically used in many "sugar-free" products, such as sugarless gum. This is not a negative aspect in my book. These have a somewhat fruity flavor that I like. Taking two per day this will last one month, which I think is good: Recommended. Read more
I take collagen every day. Normally I use powder form, dissolved in water, coffee, tea, juice, etc. But it isn't always convenient to take it that way. This is a good alternative, and let's be honest; gummies are fun to take, even for adults. I like that these don't have sugar in them. Instead they're sweetened by malitol, which is a sugar alcohol that doesn't raise blood sugar, which is important to me. There is only 99mg of collagen in 2 gummies, which is a fair amount less than is in a scoop of the powder I use. So I either have to eat more gummies or get less collagen than usual. Neither is that attractive of an option for me, since the current price ($25-ish) is already pretty high for a one month supply. If I were to make that into a 2 week supply, it would be absolutely cost prohibitive. Since these are pleasant to take, I'll probably reserve them for those times when I'm not going to be able to mix up a collagen drink at home. Read more
This gummy is an acquired taste. The gummies are more waxy than gummy, and when you first pop one into your mouth they have a weird taste (almost like chewing on a piece of paraffin wax). To its credit, the gummy slowly starts dissolving, and you end up with a fruity flavor in the end. So, all in all, the taste wasn't too bad to take. Two biggest issues I had with these were (1) the ingredient list and (2) the price. The gummies contain Maltitol which is sugar alcohol--not a bad thing, per se. But for those of you with sensitive stomachs, Maltitol can cause mild-to-moderate diarrhea. 😲 You'd think that'll be advertised in the product description. So, if you are one of those prone to such conditions (or if "fat free" chips made you run to the bathroom), this product is not for you. Worse still, for each serving, you've to take TWO gummies--which means for almost 25 bucks, you're getting a 30 day supply. As in, each gummy is almost a dollar! It is too early to see any results yet, but I don't think this'll be worth that kind of money. I'll continue using this and come back for a serving of humble pie if I am wrong. But don't hold your breath. Overall, cannot recommend this product unless you're sure you're not allergic/have reactions to the ingredients. Read more
I really wanted to like these, but I couldn’t get past the taste or the gritty, waxy texture. They didn’t taste like tropical gummies at all, and it was hard to chew without feeling like they were sticking or breaking apart weirdly. At this price point, I expected better quality and flavor. I’ll be switching back to collagen powders or capsules. Read more
A lot of times gummies come in the mail and they are hard or too chewy that they almost rip your teeth out. These have wonderful flavor and texture. I used to use a powder collagen but I prefer these over them as the powder often changes the taste of the beverage/shake. I can't speak for the health benefits as I have not been taking them long enough but I am hoping for the best! I don't think there is a such thing as TOO many vitamins as your body will simple get rid of the excess. Read more
These collagen gummies are a fantastic alternative to powder supplements, which I often struggle to stick with. The flavor is pleasantly citrusy, somewhat like tangerine, and the gummies have a firm, dense texture—almost slightly grainy but still enjoyable. I love that they're low in sugar, so I can take them at any time of the day without worrying about extra calories. The fun, unique shapes also make them more enjoyable to consume. One standout feature is their neutral odor, especially given that they’re made with collagen, which can sometimes have a strong smell. These gummies offer just enough sweetness to satisfy a light craving without being overly sugary. That said, be mindful of the dosage—each serving of two gummies contains 99mg of collagen, so you'll want to ensure this aligns with your dietary needs. Overall, they're a tasty and convenient way to get your collagen intake, and the fact that they're made in the USA is a nice bonus! Read more
