Big for a wall plug in air cleaner but our bathroom gets a lot of dust. Must be from cotton towels, cloths and rugs. Dustiest room in the house. Have 6 other large aircleaners in the house. This air filter is just the right size for a small to medium room. It has 4 settings, two low and high with a blue light, and two low and high with no light. I find the high setting a bit too noisy for me, so keep it on the whisper quiet setting. Read more

You'll need a power outlet on it's own for this as it's kind of ginormous. I've tried it in various rooms around my house including, master bedroom, smaller guest room, bathroom (but it was too big to leave there aside from for experimental purposes) and open plan kitchen. It runs very quietly. The noise didn't bother me in the slightest but my husband who could hear a squirrel fart 10 miles away said "what's that noise" as soon as he walked in the bedroom and I'd hidden it from view as he's prone to wild exaggeration and I wanted to test him. After using it for a couple of weeks I am sad to say I couldn't tell the difference at all. I live on a farm and it can get really dusty when the windows are open and we have a ton of trees and flowers which kick off my allergies. I am *very* sensitive to smells being a former smoker and couldn't tell the difference with either smells or my allergies. I pulled the filter out after two weeks to see if it had captured anything but it looked a clean as the day it went in. I am part of a camping family and we spend as much time as we can in the great outdoors. We play the price for it with our allergies. When rv camping, I wanted an air filter to go near my bed so I gave this a try. This arrived boxed and is an easy plug and play. Operation is simple, a switch on the side to turn it on and off, and a button on the top to turn the nightlight on and off. There is an aroma pad, which we didn't need. This is a two prong plug, and there is a thick wedge of foam on the bottom back of the unit so it will sit flat against the wall and not damage it. I initially thought the filter was slightly on the loud side, but after using it a day it became white noise and didn't bother me. I was surprised to find that it actually did seem to help my allergies . . . I didn't have to use my antihistamine after the second day and normally it's an every day deal. Although it didn't do as good of a job as the larger units we use at home, it also didn't take up as much space as those do. It is very portable and convenient for us to use.
