I have been looking for a decent non tracking tight clumping litter for a year. This is perfect. It doesn't track, it doesn't stick to his feet and it clumps very well. My male cat urinated a lot. He also drinks a lot. His blood work is perfect. He just likes to be well hydrated. I used to use arm and hammer scoop but the litter turned into wet clay. This litter doesn't do that and my daily clean up is so easy now. I am a customer of this for life! While price is reasonable. No odor if I clean daily. I was out of town for 3 days and it did smell a little but not too bad. I think you could go longer between cleanings if you wanted. I just do it daily.it seems like I am actually using less litter than I did with other brands. Read more

I find this litter to be very low tracking. It works great for a clumping litter. Doesn't overly clump where you end up scooping more then you want to so no waste. My cat has allergies so this litter has no dust which was important. I have bought different brands of litter and this one I prefer. Also got unscented one. Read more

This litter by far is the best clumping variety that tracks very little. I have 3 cats and there is still some litter that makes its way out of the pan, but doesn’t get very far and stays mostly on the surrounding mat. Unlike some of the lighter clumping varieties that I would find getting tracked all over my house!!! Clumps well, really good odor control and really happy that it comes unscented as I’ve yet to have a variety of litter that is scented and way too fragranced. Yuck. Also like most of the other Tidy Cats litter, this is virtually dust free. The granules are slightly bigger/thicker than regular clumping varieties, but the kitties didn’t mind at all. Wish it was slightly less pricey, but it is on par with what most good litters cost these days. Will continue to use this litter. Read more

I have been trying litter after litter and it's just not worked. Changing the whole box like once a week. I can't afford to do that. This really traps scent well. Last a long time, and as long as you wait for it to fully absorb it's easy to scoop. The natural litters I used never scooped well. Overall amazing, barely even tracks. Read more

Used to use the lightweight stuff, but the litter tracked EVERYWHERE, all through my house. This is so much better - the litter is localized mostly to just the area immediately around the litter box, and there is no dust. It is a much larger grain, and does not seem to stick in paws. The box is very heavy however, and does not come with any kind of handle. I usually decant it into a plastic litter jug I've saved for easy pouring. The odor control is fine, and I like that it comes unscented, but the clumps can be kind of wet-sticky. For my one cat, daily scooping, 1 box lasts 3 weeks on auto delivery. Read more

I love this litter! The very small bit that escapes the litter box vacuums up easily. There is not much. And the odor is gone, even after I forget to clean on a regular basis. It is easy to scoop clean because the clumping is excellent. It seems like a lot of money, but in the long run, it is not because it lasts a long time!!! The dust that I got from other litters is not here; it is almost nonexistent. Read more

Have no opinion yet on how the product actually works. But I have a four letter opinion of the packaging. First of all 20 lb is way too much for me to handle so after 10 minutes of struggling was trying to figure out how to open the blankety blank thing I finally found the pull cords on the side which both broke. Just make things even more interesting Amazon put this in a box slightly bigger than it was with absolutely no outside handle on this Purina box to get a hold of and no way to pick it up. PURINA, MAJOR FAIL ON PACKAGING!!! You're supposed to be helping people take care of pets. Not frustrating the owners to the point where they have to return their animals to the shelter. Shame on you hire somebody besides a 20 something to try to open one of these packages. If you're over 50 or 60 I would say do not buy this product Good luck getting it open Read more

My biggest concern for cat litter is tracking, and this litter doesn’t track because the pellets are big and heavy. Unfortunately, that means the box is really really heavy. I was unable to lift it out of the shipping container myself because it was stuck on the edges. It has a low dust level and will last my two cats about a month. It’s a decent price as I bought it on sale but the price per pound is not the MOST accurate way to measure it because it’s just so heavy. If you keep up with your litter box cleaning, it should not smell bad. Read more
