Pursonic RET200 Power Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush With UV Sanitizing Function 12 Brush Heads Included

This is a replacement for the same rechargeable electric toothbrush by Pursonic which I had for many years. The rechargeable internal battery only last so many years and I am not sure the battery could have been replaced (lost the manual). The price for the exact same model was probably less than a new battery would cost anyway. I am very pleased with the cleaning power of this electric toothbrush and love being able to sanitize the brush head. Recommend this to all who care about their dental hygiene. Read more

This item bought to replace another brand of sonic toothbrush which had lasted about three years. This Pursonic toothbrush is not recommended because the brushes are so cheaply made that after just a few uses they fall apart. Look for another brand to buy. ADDENDUM: This electric toothbrush has just died and will not charge. It is barely over a month old, and of course the 30 day return policy has passed. As stated before this electric toothbrush should be pulled from sales via Amazon. Very poorly made item. We are asking for a replacement be sent to us. We have had Phillips Sonicare toothbrushes for over 25 years. They did a good job. We decided to switch brands because the ultra violet light unit had to be replaced (for the 5th time) and the handle acted like it was losing efficiency. It was terribly expensive to replace the whole thing at once. We took a chance with this toothbrush, which was just a fraction of the price of the other one. We are sure glad we did, because this one cleans our teeth and leaves us with the feeling that we just left the dentist's office! (Our other one was nice, but NOTHING like this one!) The ultra violet light head cleaner is also much easier to use and is very easy to keep clean. This product is nothing less than great! If we ever need to replace our toothbrush again, this is the one we will purchase. Read more

This sets cleans very well! My teeth feel amazing. The only downside is the slits in the head, which trap moisture and toothpaste. It comes with a sanitizer light though. You can't beat it for the price and how well it cleans! Read more

The device has 3 pulsating options but they all move at a hard/fast rate. Very uncofortable and damaging to dental work. The motor sounds worse than my grandfather's snoring & I'm not confident in the life expectancy (of either). R The price point was nice but you definitely get what you paid for. Read more

Toothbrush does not hold a charge. Toothbrush heads fit poorly and fall off while brushing. Poor fit design. Noisy. Motor is inconsistent. Don't waste your money. Read more

I have a small bathroom for 3 people. I feel more comfortable knowing my toothbrush is UV sanitized and under cover. This works well and is a better price than a lot of other UV units. Read more

A little after a month after I purchased this, it malfunctioned (it wouldn't turn on even after being on the charger all night and it's light was green). I ended up having to unplug it to let it totally discharge for a day and then plug it back in for another day to get it to operate. Because it was over the 30 day return policy, the company put me through all kinds of hoops to exchange it. I had just had a lot of major dental work done and when it was functioning, it was too powerful for those areas. During the time it began malfunctioning, I discovered it had two additional modes, gentle (listed as "soft") and massage, neither of which I could ever get it to do. The replacement they finally sent does not have a power "issue" except it is not operating under the other two functions as listed in the manual. It has only operated at one speed, one mode.
